The Israeli military said Thursday it was probing whether Hamas leader and Oct. 7 mastermind Yahya Sinwar was among three terrorists killed in a recent strike in Gaza.

A senior Israeli official believes there is a “high likelihood” Sinwar is among the dead, the Times of Israel reported Thursday.

“During IDF operations in Gaza, three terrorists were eliminated,” the Israel Defense Forces said in a statement.

“The IDF and ISA [Israel Security Agency] are checking the possibility that one of the terrorists was Yahya Sinwar. At this stage, the identity of the terrorists cannot be confirmed.”…

    If confirmed, more threats from iran, turkey, yada yada, and moaning and crying by those who held him as a hero…the ghoul, the monster, the mass-murdering son of satan.

  2. There’s a Dutch website showing before (in life) and after photographs. It’s Sinwar for sure right down to the exact irregular spacings of upper and lower teeth. The nose too is distinctive because it’s not one of those great Arabic klaxons.
    Strange that in the end the IDF just got lucky. I think Allah has converted to the other side.

  3. I was just watching Newsmax, and they were speculating about what happens to the hostage negotiations i.e. who’s now in control of the hostages and has the power to release them. The US should put pressure on Qatar to read Hamas the riot act (since Khaled Mashal is still in Doha) and have it release all the hostages unconditionally

      Update: Members of the security cabinet were reportedly told that Sinwar had indeed been killed, though there was, as of 6:00 p.m. Thursday evening, no public confirmation.)

      According to reports circulating on social media, it appeared that soldiers were simply carrying out a routine attack on a building in which three terrorists had taken cover. They were shocked to discover who one of them might be.

      Some speculated that with Sinwar dead, it may be easier to achieve a hostage deal, since he was a main obstacle.

        • Both he and Khaled Mashal now live in Doha. But he’s even older than Khaled Mashal: he’s 73 while Mashal is 68. I believe both are retired, but given their current situation, either one could become the new head of Hamas

          There are other no-name people in their political wing, But everyone from Izzadine al Qassam Brigades – their military wing – has been eliminated.

          I know that Netanyahu has said that he doesn’t want to re-occupy Gaza. But at the end of it all, Israel will have no choice but to re-occupy and annex Gaza, as well as Judea and Samaria, and stamp out not just Hamas but also Fatah, islamic jihad and PFLP. Essentially do there what it’s done in the Golan Heights. Those Palis who don’t accept that should be forced to leave for Jordan or Qatar

  5. To Biden: NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO RESTRICT and CONDEMN ISRAEL AND ISSUE NETANYAHU THREATS. Without Sinwar, Hamas’ adrenalin is gone and it is on the verge of total defeat. Their option is surrender and hope that the rest of the world that does not like Jews – a majority apparently according to UN membership – will somehow save them. The US should stand firm with Israel and stop threatening that brave little country while extending a helping hand to Hamas and Terrorism.

    ps: I knew he couldn’t stay underground for long. He had to come up and see daylight and that is where and when he was killed. The sun killed him exactly like the vampire he was.

    • The article I cited above speculated that his presence on the building above suggested that he may have been trying to leave Gaza, and had so arranged

  6. The disturbing thing is no Israeli hostages was found near the body. None at all.

    So if it was him – where is his entourage of hostages?
    And if is not him – where is he?

    • One report suggested that there was speculation that he was trying to leave Gaza, so probably came up anticipating a foreign aircraft to airlift him out of there. So he left the hostages back

      According to Trey Yingst at FNC, the remaining leaders of Hamas are political: Sinwar was the only major military guy left. So now, it’ll probably be up to them

      • Most likely he was beating it out…or trying to….before the IDF could get him…thinking he’d be safe in iran or turkey, etc. Waiting for some copter flying over, which never arrived.
        Leaving his children behind.

    I wrote many times for few weeks at “Jihad Wach” that the terrorist “Yehia Al Siwar” the leader of Hamas the Islamic terrorist organization who replaced the terrorist who also was killed “Ismail Haniya” had killed him also

    Any way the terrorists “Yehia Al Sinwar” same all Muslims went to gana for having a good sex time with the 72 women and with river of wine to pleasure.

    Each woman of them become again virgin after every time he sleep with her.

    Not all Muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims.

  8. Sometimes it’s “better the devil you know”. I hope that this isn’t one of those times and that his replacement holds some reverence for human life and particularly the lives of Gaza citizens. Then an early resolution could be possible.
    I know it’s a naive hope but I do hope that further escalation can be avoided.

    • Only big name replacement of him that I can see is the 68 year old retired leader Khaled Mashal, who was previously based in Damascus but now in Doha. I guess it’ll be up to him to call the shots

          Somehow, the Israelis have done nothing against Qatar, despite their support for the muslim brotherhood & Hamas. On the contrary, in the past, they’ve encouraged Qatar to fund the Palis so that they wouldn’t have to, and Qatar has also been the go-between on negotiations

          It’s noteworthy that they killed Haniyeh (assuming that they did) in Teheran, rather than Doha

Watching Israeli based news YouTube channels and they all report the IDF cornered a bunch of Hamas Terrorists in a building they were taking heavy fire, none of them knew exactly were this building was located. The building was than destroyed by tank fire. They found Sinwars body in the rubble. Now the question is are any of the hostages still alive. In the photo’s of his body you can see a vest he has on. It was packed full of money and gold. What has not been widely reported is the Egypt would not allow Sinwar to escape, they wanted him just a dead as Israel did.

    Of course now Brain Dead Biden and his manure for brains secretary of state are calling for and end to the Hamas war now that Sinwar is dead. Revising and old term from the US 19th century. The only good Hamas, and Hezbollah terrorist is a dead one.
