We are on a moral slide because the Supreme Court dictated in 1963 that public schools were not allowed to read the Bible nor pray in our public schools. This is not what the prohibition of the establishment of a religion means. Our Founding Fathers encouraged the teaching of religion (Christianity) in order to promote high moral society. Congress and Federal government are prohibited from enacting laws that would establish a religion. But the individual states should be able to decide if the Bible is to be taught in their schools. If Trump makes it to the White House again, he should ask the Supreme Court to review its decisions it made in 1963.
