Despite the best efforts of The New York Times, The Washington Post, NPR, the BBC, MSNBC, CBS, Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ta-Nehisi Coates, Kanye West, and the Hadid girls, to poison our minds against Israel as it is engaged in a seven-front war for its very survival, it turns out that the American public has not been swayed. The latest Harvard-Harris poll reveals that more than 8 out of 10 Americans support Israel over Hamas, and want it to achieve its stated war aim in Gaza — to destroy Hamas as a military force. An overwhelming majority of Americans support Israel over the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, according to a new Harvard-Harris poll.
The poll, conducted from Oct. 11-13, revealed that the American public wants Israel to prevail in its ongoing military campaign in Hamas-ruled Gaza. The data also indicated that the American people believe the Jewish state should continue to prosecute the war until it achieves its objectives, including the permanent removal of Hamas from the Gaza strip and the release of the remaining hostages kidnapped from southern Israel last October.
According to the poll, Americans support Israel over Hamas by a margin of 81-19 percent. This represents a slight uptick from September, when 79 percent of Americans indicated support for Israel over the terrorist organization. Among respondents that follow the war “closely,” 81 percent similarly indicated support for Israel and 19 percent support Hamas.
The poll also showed a generational divide on Israel. Americans over 65 support Israel over Hamas by a staggering margin of 94-6 percent. Those aged 35-44 support the Jewish state over the terrorist group by a margin of 74-26 percent. Young Americans aged 18-24 are far more divided on the conflict, with 57 percent supporting Israel and 43 percent supporting the Hamas terrorist group.
Might the overwhelming support — 94 percent — for Israel among those who are over 65 reflect the wisdom that may come with age, of having lived through a lot that the youngest cohort of voters have not, including 9/11/2001, and learned in those decades to better distinguish truth from falsehood?
The Jewish state also enjoys strong support across party lines, according to the poll. An overwhelming 85 percent of Republicans and 76 percent of Democrats said they support Israel. Meanwhile, 15 percent of Republicans and 24 percent of Democrats indicated they back Hamas.
A commanding majority of voters also said they believe that Israel should strike a ceasefire deal with Hamas after it achieves its key military goals. Among respondents, 68 percent believe a ceasefire “should happen only after the release of all hostages and Hamas being removed from power.” Only 32 percent of Americans support an “unconditional ceasefire that would leave everything in place as is.”…
Despite the best efforts of so many in the media to convince us that Israel is in the wrong, more than four out of five Americans continue to support the Jewish state. They see a country fighting enemies in a seven-front war whose aim is clear: to destroy Israel, to expel or kill all of its Jewish inhabitants, and to replace it with a 23rd Arab state.
This latest Harvard-Harris poll should give pause to those in the Democratic party whose support for Israel has been weakening. Think hard, Democratic candidates, before you choose to align yourself with the likes of Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and the campus brats screaming “From the river to the sea/Palestine will be free.” It’s not the way to win.

The problem with those in the youngest cohort, who are Hamas supporters, is that their brains have not fully matured and they are given over to groupthink and peer pressure and seeking to please their corrupt professors. The poll should have split the youngest cohort between those who are attending institutions of higher education and those who are not. I would wager that most of these Hamasophiles are those stewing in the septic tank of Ivory Tower anti-semitism while most young people not immersed in that foul environment are much more apt to support Israel.

The hyena divides ‘citizens’ from ‘those people who are here.’ Perhaps the poll takers asked some who are not citizens, but here from other nations. If so, they could be from mozlum nations and be all in favor of hamas destroying Israel. A lot of them go to school.

America is not a Leftist nation but the Left which makes up around 25% of the American population wants it to become such. They must be denied just as Harris must be thwarted mightily come November (and she will be IF the election is fair but this is a big “IF”).

This is what worries me, James, i.e., the awful minority are regularly overriding the sensible majority. And they do so through sundry nefarious means, not the least of which is allowing illegals to become voters as well as alleging that asking for voter ID is racist.

Our western government prime ministers and presidents are the ones who allow terrorist supporters to protest in our streets. If there was a ban on pro-palestian Hamas supporters street protests there shouldn’t be so much support for Hamas and other terrorist organizations.
