Chicago: Police Uncertain of Motive of Muslim Gunman Shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’

It’s another ‘Allahu Akbar” mystery.

Sidi Mohamed Abdallahi went into a Jewish neighborhood, shot a visibly Jewish man on the way to synagogue and then got into a gun battle with cops while shouting “Allahu Akbar.”

Police are baffled.

A 22-year-old man was charged with over a dozen felonies Monday after shooting a Jewish man and firing at first responders in Chicago over the weekend, according to the Chicago Police Department. The suspect, Sidi Mohamed Abdallahi, reportedly yelled “Allahu Akbar” during the firefight but was not charged with a hate crime.

“The first thing is we have to find out who’s committing the crime. Secondly, we have to find out the motive for the crime,” Chicago police superintendent Larry Snelling said during a press conference Monday afternoon. “We don’t just go in and assume that everything is a hate crime, but what we don’t do is rule out the possibility that it could be.”

Hate crime? I’d call shooting at cops while shouting about the superiority of the deity you worship to theirs after trying to kill the number one target of your religion to be more likely a case of the “T” word.

But I’m not a law enforcement expert operating in a city run by a pro-terrorist mayor.

There are reports that Mohamed is also an illegal alien who crossed the border. Police also refused to confirm those reports.

They’re also incapable of confirming whether Mo shouted, “Allahu Akbar” or not and dodged the question the way that Kamala dodges a question about her policies.

 

After refusing to release Mohamed’s identity for three days, the CPD is refusing to release whether he shouted, “Allahu Akbar.”

  1. Not Charged with a hate Crime? It seems that the Citizens of Chicago need to remove those who are in power and replace them with those who will look after their best interest. What do you have to lose by voting for a Republican Candidate? Ask yourself what have the Demonicrats done for communities.? Nothing at all. The get richer while you struggle to survive.       Well, come on. Who can blame the suspect?

      He was obviously shouting “Aloha Snackbar!” and expressing dismay about the lack of Hawaiian restaurants in the area!

      Those Chicagoans may be famous for heavy meat pizzas, but they’re not so keen on Hawaiian pizzas (ie. pineapple, ham cured a certain way, even corn…)

    • Patriot, I have my issues with the whole “hate crime” thing, which is often political–but this is the very defintion of a hate crime, and should obviously be charged as such. No “uncertain motive” here.

  10. Just reverse the order and a white man goes into a Muslim neighborhood and is yelling Make America Great Again while shooting at a muslim person and the police. It would be designated a hate crime before they put the cuffs on him.

  11. Of course its a hate crime. All Muslims HATE JEWS and want to rid the earth of them, written in that hatefrul book called the Quran. Its a world wide problem and the Police are too scared to prosecute as the rest of the Muslims could come after him. We have the same troubles here in Australia due to our totally incompetent Labor Government bringing in 3000 people from Gaza WITHOUT SCRUTINY. 99% of them could be Hamas supporters?
