Rather than apply the usual first-come first-serve rule, it is the established English-speaking taxpayers who are yet again being treated as second-class citizens. The reason that has been given for pushing English-speaking London patients to the back of the queue to see a doctor is to “avoid additional charges from the interpreting service.” But non-English speaking clients come in around the clock. The UK medical system (London included) has a serious problem with overcrowding, to the extent of forcing corridor care and putting patients at risk.
Since London does “not collect information directly about English as a second language,” here are some trends: over 40% of residents in London were born outside of the UK. Of course, many among them do not speak English. Muslims now comprise some 15% of the population. Illegal migration mostly from Africa and the Middle East have driven those numbers higher. Estimated undocumented migrants in London are about 397,000.
One can safely say that the numbers of non-English speaking patients in the hospital waiting rooms would be significant. London is one of the most multicultural cities in the world.
So in a multicultural London, there will be a significant number of English-speaking citizens pushed to the back of the queue, for an unknown amount of time. Already, waiting times are far “too long.”

The trust’s aim is to avoid additional charges from the interpreting service.
It is unclear whether NHS trusts nationwide take this approach, but last night it sparked a row, with Tory leadership hopeful Robert Jenrick claiming the approach lets down British NHS patients….

Millions of illegals as well receiving treatment. They’re not turned away if they turn up at hospital despite having no right whatsoever being here or access to services. They’ll jump the queue as well as they can’t be put through the system.
They arrive and milk this country dry without contributing or building any of this infrastructure. That was done by generations of British people who are now essentially slaves to the third world savages.

There are handheld devices which can translate from one language to another. They are very inexpensive. perhaps the NHS could buy soem and save a fortune on human translators

What Brits should start doing is activating their phones to translate from English to Urdu, and playing the latter to receptionists at waiting rooms. The latter can then use them, or if needed, translate that back into English so that they can do their usual business
Other option: try visiting Pakistan for medical treatment

Over the past couple of years, there have been accounts of poor little babies, born in the U.K. to parents born in the U.K. being subjected to inferior medical treatment and lack of proper care…and dying, while the parents seek help in other countries.
The “medical” community then fights to keep the babies there to die. Besides the babies, small children and even young adults being improperly diagnosed and dying when proper treatment could have saved them.
One such case was of a healthy man in his 20’s who was reportedly…in the medical records…living with his parents, one of whom was ‘reportedly’ a victim of copd, and the son was a ‘risk’ to his parents if he did not get a jab. So he was called in…the nhs didn’t want the astra zeniki jabs to go to waste…and so he was jabbed, got blood clots on his brain, was not treated, and died about 3 weeks later. His parent had asthma and he didn’t live with them. The very day after he was jabbed, there were instructions for the medical people to make sure of correct addresses.
Now this pushing the citizens to the back of the line, instead of treating by first come or by medical need.
The British citizens are getting a rotten deal all of the way around.

Having witnessed my father spend 8 hours on a gurney in the waiting room after a heart attack. The medics then tried to put a stent in and screwed that up. So they then denied they had tried. The damage they had done killed him not long afterwards.
I also had an aunt (deceased) who was an NHS secretary. Every year 2 weeks planned paid sick leave during wimbledon. Never bought sheets or towels and who knows what else.
People often travelled to the UK just to have their babies. My sister was a Midwife so i know that is true.
Too many people. Both immigrants and British who never paid into the service but expect free treatment is part of the problem. Bring back tyrannical matrons and get rid of medically unqualified leadership. That will help some. Immigrant none citizens pay. EU Foreign nationals pay the same as they would at home.
