Donald Trump sure is a monster, isn’t he? He’s a fraudster, an insurrectionist, a would-be dictator, and even a rapist. How could anyone vote for this guy for president? That’s the take the left wants you to have, but the various cases that create this picture of Trump the Monster are all flimsy in the extreme, and none so flimsy as E. Jean Carroll’s claim that Trump raped her many years ago in a Bergdorf Goodman’s dressing room. On Friday, Trump’s attorney Will Scharf dissected it, making it clear yet again that no sentient human being should be taking this story seriously.

There is a statute of limitations on rape. Usually something like 3 years.
Years ago, if a scum committed rape and was not identified and arrested within a 3 year period, after that time, he would not be charged. Then a smart detective or DA came up with the idea of putting out an arrest warrant for DNA. This tactic keeps the cases alive until the scum is identified and can be arrested.
Now exceptions are made in the Laws so Mr. Trump can be convicted and put in prison; and in the meantime, called all kinds of names….as if he has already been found guilty before trial.
The case of hush money would have been Federal if a crime had been committed; yet it was ‘tried’ in a state court after no crime had been committed.
Now the ‘rape’ lies after how many years? 20 + years?
She is and was an adult. If it happened as she claims, why not go to the police at that time and press charges? This isn’t one of those cases of a child being raped and is so traumatized forgets it until years later.
She can’t give a date and time, only a year. Police must have a date and time of the crime in order to investigate. The alleged perp then has the opportunity to provide an alibi as to why he could not have committed the crime.
The jury members were either haters of the man on trial, believed they would profit from a guilty verdict, or they are stupid and ignorant of the law.
This should not be an issue. But the ghouls are in control and every one of them is holding on to get all of the criminal gusto they can

True, the whole thing was a disgrace by the desperate Democrats & the absolute nut case being this woman. She didn’t even know what year she claimed it happened in, & Trump got in trouble for saying he was innocent.

The “judge” didn’t allow a lot of things from the defense team to be presented in court.
Had they been allowed to present a defense as they were prepared to do, the jury might have come back with a different verdict. But the judge disallowed much of what the defense had to present.
