National Students for Justice in Palestine (NSJP), which has been linked to Islamist terrorist organizations, publicly discussed its grand strategy of using the anti-Zionist student movement as a weapon for destroying the US in a now-deleted tweet that was posted to X/Twitter earlier this week.
“Divestment is not an incrementalist goal. True divestment necessitates nothing short of the total collapse of the university structure and American empire itself,” the organization said on Tuesday. “It is not possible for imperial spoils to remain so heavily concentrated in the metropole and its high-cultural repositories without the continuous suppression of populations that resist the empire’s expansion; to divest from this is to undermine and eradicate America as we know it.”
The tweet was the latest in a series of progressive revelations of SJP’s revolutionary goals and its apparent plans to amass armies of students and young people for a long campaign of subversion against US institutions, including the economy, military, and higher education. Like past anti-American movements, SJP has also been fixated on the presence and prominence of Jews in American life and the US’s alliance with Israel, the world’s only Jewish state.
On the same day the tweet was posted, Columbia University’s most strident pro-Hamas organization was reported to be distributing literature calling on students to join the terror group’s movement to destroy Israel during this year’s convocation ceremony.
“This booklet is part of a coordinated and intentional effort to uphold the principles of the thawabit and the Palestinian resistance movement overall by transmitting the words of the resistance directly,” said a pamphlet distributed by Columbia University Apartheid Divest (CUAD), a Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) spinoff, to incoming freshmen. “This material aims to build popular support for the Palestinian war of national liberation, a war which is waged through armed struggle.”
Other sections of the pamphlet were explicitly Islamist, invoking the name of “Allah, the most gracious” and referring to Hamas as the “Islamic Resistance Movement.” Proclaiming, “Glory to Gaza that gave hope to the oppressed, that humiliated the ‘invincible’ Zionist army,” it says its purpose is to build an army of Muslims worldwide.
“We call upon the masses of our Arab and Islamic nations, its scholars, men, institutions, and active forces to come out in roaring crowds tomorrow,” it adds, referring to an event which took place in December. “We also renew our invitation to the free people and those with living consciences around the world to continue and escalate their global public movement, rejecting the occupation’s crimes, in solidarity with our people and their just cause and legitimate struggle.”…

The universities never imagined that their creation would turn on them. The universities didn’t bother to think things through and yet they market themselves as institutions of higher learning. With the creation of the internet universities are a symbol of a bygone era. Just as the creation of the automobile doomed the horse and buggy the internet has doomed the universities. It didn’t help that universities shot themselves in the foot by becoming institutions of higher ignorance. Nobody needs that. Especially for the outrageous prices they charge.

With the best of today’s technology, nearly every college class could be taught online – with separate proctored exams.
The only exceptions would be STEM courses that require labs.

On the first thing they list, I’d rather give it to them. The bulk of Palis & other Arabs in the US are here either due to schools wanting them and sponsoring F visas on their behalf. Otherwise there ain’t a ton of Arab geniuses (now there’s an oxymoron) that the US business community would otherwise want, unlike in the case of Israelis. So if the university structure collapses – which it should, but not for the reasons they list – that would dry up all the F visas going to Arab countries. Once that happens, let’s see how they create any more Dearborns, Minneapolis’ and Hamtramcks in this country, the way they have throughout Europe
Oh, and while we are at it, the next government should ban immigration from a new bunch of muslim countries – “Palestine”, Kuwait, Turkey, Qatar, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan in addition to the ones already on the list (I’d take off Burma). And then start deporting all anti-Semites who are not US residents, even if they have Green Cards. We’ll fix much of the problem of anti-Semitism within the US once we do that

Good solution. Annexing the Gaza strip and expulsion of Muslims as Spain did in 1609 would also fix much of the problem with Muslim invaders of non-Islamic countries.

They want universities to ban much of what is taught or discussed just like in the countries they came from. Presumably, they came here to get educated in things that are haram back home. Now that they are here and have experienced that oh so terrible free exchange of ideas they want to destroy it. Is a little bit of money now worth the destruction of your institution later? There is nothing uniquely “Palestinian” about either of those flags, as we discussed in the flag thread the other day: the 3 horizontal bands represent 3 of the historic Arab caliphates, while the red triangle represents the Hashemite dynasty of Jordan. I went to univerity in the late 1970s and early ’80s. Even the most unhinged leftist group at the time would not have said they wanted to destroy *universities themselves*. Just unhinged insanity–but grotesquely this is probbly not uncommon with students these days.

I consider myself very tolerant with regard to speech, but shouldn’t calling for the complete collapse of the university system be grounds for expulsion? Notice I said expulsion, not imprisonment. I support the first amendment. But if I were CEO of Exxon and an employee said the company should be destroyed, I might consider that it would be inappropriate to keep him/her around.
