The purpose and objectives of the Gulf Cooperation Council include unity among member states and expanding partnerships in a broad range of areas, including economics, finance, health, technology, and commerce. Islamic states operate under the umbrella of the Sharia and related issues. A primary interest is the Palestinian cause. Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi “reaffirmed the GCC’s solidarity with the Palestinian people, demanding an immediate and permanent ceasefire and an end to military operations by Israel’s occupying forces.”
The red-green axis has been united in support of the Palestinian cause (as expected), and in opposition to the interests of Israel and the values of free societies. Under a weak Biden administration, the red-green axis has become significantly stronger.
India, which is not part of the red-green axis, had developed close relations with America under Donald Trump. In order to survive in a rapidly changed “global village,” India has formed friendships elsewhere, including one with Russia.
Saudi Arabia has also become an important partner of India for investments, and a “key pillar for India’s energy security.”

RIYADH: The 161st Ministerial Council meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council, chaired by Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani and attended by GCC ministers of foreign affairs, was held in Riyadh on Monday.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the GCC held three separate ministerial meetings with Russia, India and Brazil to open new horizons for cooperation.
The seventh GCC-Russia strategic dialogue ministerial meeting was held with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, the GCC-India meeting with Indian Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, and the GCC-Brazil meeting with Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira.
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed Elkhereiji attended all the meetings.
GCC Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi underlined that the joint ministerial meetings aim to strengthen strategic relations with countries and organizations.

You need to stop shilling for Modi. Israel is an arms supplier to India, not the other way around. India’s votes at the UN on Israel have been downright despicable: I for one am glad that I’m not longer an Indian citizen, so I can accurately say that Modi is not my prime minister (Not that Biden or Kamala are much better, admittedly)
India could easily blacklist Qatar and source from its local rivals – Emirates, Oman, Saudi Arabia. In addition to Russia. Reason they don’t is that Modi’s pal Adani has huge Qatari investments in his companies
I shed no tears over Hasina’s exist, but India’s refusal to confront Bangladesh over the persecution of HIndus is downright disgraceful. They’re treating Bangladesh like there’s nothing going on. Oh, and India’s border w/ Bangladesh is closed – to hapless Hindus trying to flee the genocide
India can do a number of things:
➤ Start deporting all Bangladeshi nationals in the country, except for Hindu ones
➤ Stop supplying energy to Bangladesh from Assam: it’s not like India is a net energy exporter
➤ Ban their companies from near shoring any labor to Bangladesh, such as the apparel industry
➤ Do the air & naval blocade until Bangladesh cracks down on jihadists nationwide
➤ Start actively carving our parts of Bangladesh that are proposed as Hindu and Buddhist homelands
You are right about BJP & Congress having identical foreign policies. Both need to be rejected, and a new Hindu political movement is needed in India
As for anti-Western sentiment, the same people are not pro-Chicom at the same time. Also, the anti-Western sentiment is due to this administration. India had a great relationship w/ the US when Trump was in power: nobody was going after Modi’s ACYPL past
