It’s strange Tlaib won’t endorse her, because if elected, Kamala Harris will do everything the pro-Hamas people want. She’ll push for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza, leaving Hamas still standing, able to regroup, and to recruit new members as it brags that it withstood “the mighty Zionist army.“ She’ll want to use American taxpayer dollars to “rebuild” Gaza so that the people there can enjoy the “independence” and “self-determination” and “security” that they “so rightly deserve.” And Harris will push for that will-o’-the-wisp “two-state solution” by pressuring Israel to agree to be squeezed back within the 1949 armistice lines — that Abba Eban famously described as the “lines of Auschwitz” — with a nine-mile-wide waist from Qalqilya to the sea.
That “Palestinian state” — whether run by the PA or by Hamas – when ready will resume attacks on what would then be a much-reduced state of Israel, and with help from other Arabs, strive to achieve the ultimate goal — the replacement of Israel, in its entirety, by the twenty-third Arab state of “Palestine.” More on Tlaib’s refusal to endorse Harris can be found here: “Rashida Tlaib Refuses to Endorse Kamala Harris for President Due to Gaza Policy,” by Corey Walker, Algemeiner, September 13, 2024:
US Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) refused to issue an explicit endorsement of Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris on Thursday, instead encouraging voters to throw their support behind candidates who support a ceasefire in Gaza.
While speaking on a panel at the Annual Legislative Conference in Washington, DC, an event sponsored by the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Tlaib expressed dismay over Harris’s unwillingness to adopt policies advocated by the pro-Palestinian movement. The Michigan congresswoman suggested that the Harris campaign was taking a “risk” in angering voters by continuing to support Israel’s defensive military operations against the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas in Gaza.
Tlaib told moderator Mehdi Hasan, a progressive journalist and prominent critic of Israel, that some of her constituents in Michigan did not want to cast a ballot for Harris, the incumbent US vice president, because they “don’t want blood on my [sic] hands.”
“I tell them, ‘OK, but there’s other people on this ballot that support a ceasefire. There’s other people on this ballot that can protect our community,’” Tlaib said….
Yes, there is the inimitable Cornell West, World’s Greatest Authority. And the forever candidate Jill Stein. Both of them support “an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.” Cast a vote for them, Tlaib advises, just to show Kamala Harris that she can’t take the Muslim vote for granted.
Earlier this year, Tlaib helped spearhead the “Uncommitted” movement in Michigan — an initiative which encouraged voters to withhold their support for the Democratic nominee until they adopted anti-Israel policies. Tlaib argued that the initiative was necessary because Arab Americans have supposedly felt “neglected” and “unseen” by the federal government….
Obviously Tlaib is unaware of the dozens of high-level appointments of Arab- and Muslim-Americans, including some involving national security, that have been made by the Biden administration.
Tlaib, the only Palestinian American woman in Congress, has often accused Israel of committing “genocide” in Gaza and of orchestrating a campaign of “ethnic cleansing” and erecting an “apartheid” regime in the West Bank….
Ah, yes, according to Tlaib and so many other antisemitic nitwits, Israel commits “genocide.” But let’s look at the numbers. In 1967, when Israel took possession of Gaza, the population of the Strip was 400,000. In 2005, when Israel pulled out, that population had more than tripled, to 1.3 million. In the West Bank, the story was the same. In 1967, when Israel took it over after the Six-Day War, the Arab population was 900,000. Today it is three million. What “genocide” can Tlaib be thinking of?
Tlaib still refuses to condemn Hamas for the Oct. 7 atrocities. She was the only voting member of the House who refused to vote for a resolution condemning the mass rapes of Israeli women and girls. She has been attending gatherings with people linked to Hamas. And now she is withholding support from Harris for not being sufficiently anti-Israel and pro-Hamas.
But I can reassure her. What Tlaib doesn’t realize is that Harris has already called — six months ago, in fact — for an “immediate ceasefire” in Gaza. If she hasn’t emphasized that demand just now, it’s only in order not to alienate pro-Israel voters, but if she wins, she’ll be calling again for an “immediate and permanent ceasefire.” And she’ll be ready to withhold both more weapons for Israel, and more vetoes at the U.N. Security Council. Whether Tlaib and other pro-Hamas voters withhold their support for Kamala Harris, Kamala Harris won’t withhold her support for them.

“ok but there’s ( there **is**) other people”
And the hyena is ‘taking a risk’ by her choices so that the ‘risk’ is that mozlums won’t vote for her.
If the hyena wanted to do the right thing, she might have more votes and support than the mozlums in the country would have the numbers to give her (there are more infidels of various stripes than there are mozlums)
But, like r tlaib, she insists on doing all of the wrong things.
Big mouth tlaib tells her mozlum buddies to vote for someone else….like the idiot west…because ‘that’ll show her’ just who is the boss around here.

The Jews will vote for Kamala anyway to more than make up fo the Arab vote. S Tlaib s smarter than you think.

Will they? A lot of them are so disgusted by Biden that they, if they haven’t gone all Trump, would have either voted RFK or sat out the election (RFK is still on the ballot in red & blue states, just not in purple ones). Alan Dershowitz has finally said that he is no longer a Democrat, and depending on factors that he only knows, he may vote for Trump. I also saw a NY poll which showed that 50% of Jews there would vote for Trump, vs 49% for Kamala. Not enough to toss the state, but Trump is making big inroads into the Jewish vote. Hopefully, that’s good enough to send Pennsylvania his way

Not exactly. She won’t end all military equipment to Israel. She won’t demand all Palestinian prisoners be “freed” by Israel. She won’t demand that Israel stop flying the Israeli flag anywhere over “Palestine” which we all know is Sea to the River. She won’t demand that Jews “return” to Poland and hand over both Tel Aviv and Jerusalem to Palestinian control. She won’t jail every Jew who prays near the Temple Mount.
Among others.
There are a lot of things Tlaib and Hamas want that Kamala will need to learn to add to her Israel package.

Yep.

Not sure that I buy that. Point is that Kamala is an empty suit, and so will do whatever her handlers have her do. If Ilhan & Russia wanna affect policy, they need to get to the ear of Phil Gordon, her national security guy. If they could somehow have Qatar grease the palms of Pentagon contractors and CFR analysts, they could make official US policy as hostile to Israel as Russia’s is
Thing to know about her is that from her Willie Brown days, she’s just a climber, and enjoys nothing else. She doesn’t wanna do anything in particular as president, she just wants to be president. All she does in any office is audition for a higher job. I believe that as POTUS, her next sights would be on the Secretary General of the UN, since it’s almost like a “President of the World” title

Kamala Harris would definitely push for a ceasefire, aid to hamas, two state solution and all the other requirements of the hamas lobby, except withdrawing military aid to israel. The hamas lobby desperately wants to stop military funding to Israel, until this objective is met in some manner don’t think rashida would endorse kamala Harris. Democratic Party will never abandon military aid to Israel although they may condemn Israel publicly, but cutting of aid is never going to happen bcoz majority of Jews still vote Democrats.

It would certainly benefit Pres. Trump if Tlaib can convince fellow Jew-haters to vote for Cornell West – or Jill Stein.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
The good part is Cornel West is still on the ticket in Michigan, despite Democrat efforts to remove him. Somehow, I doubt that Jew haters will vote Jill Stein. Despite people like Jill Stein, Bernie Sanders,… being virulently anti-Israel, the intifada crowd would still hate them b’cos they are Jews. Cornel West, otoh, would have no trouble vacuuming up their votes
In fact, not only Michigan, but also Minnesota and Virigina could be put into play if muslims decided to remain “uncommitted” or vote for Cornel West. While muslims are a significant population in NJ, I doubt that they can flip that state by not supporting Kamala

Thank you for your informed reply, Infidel.

So even Kamala is insufficintly antisemitic for the egregious Rashida Tlaib, I see.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
A part of me wonders to what extent do they hold Kamala’s marriage to Emhoff against her? Even if Doug Emhoff is just a superficial Jew, who was never into his faith until Kamala encouraged him, and that too solely for DEI purposes rather than a genuine interest in exploring their family tree. His first wife wasn’t Jewish, and even his daughter is an activist for “Palestine”. All that notwithstanding, the fact that he’s Jewish makes him irredeemable, unless he recites the shehada and converts to islam
࿗Infidel࿘ says
The Dems generally do a great job ganging up on dissenters, like they did RFK Jr. I wonder whether they’ll dare do it in her case?
Also, has Ilhan Omar weighed in? If she follows in her comrade’s footsteps, not only in Michigan up for grabs, but Minnesota as well. There is also a significant number of mohammedans in Virginia, who by withholding their vote for Que Mala, could end up gifting the state to Trump. New Jersey seems to be the only state where Kamala could lose the muslim vote but still win
OLD GUY says
Why are there all these Muslim voters in America, they hate us and America.
Tlaib not supporting Kamala is the first good thing I’ve heard about Kamala.
James Lincoln says
OLD GUY,
Apparently “heels-up” Harris is not radical enough for Tlaib.
Think about that…
