  1. That’s something. Besides showing Israeli smarts, it shows that all of the terrorists are “connected” so that they can act in unison. None of these guys are working alone.

  2. They shouldn’t have bought their pagers from Yankee’s Cell Phones and Pagers. But who could resist Yankel’s low price of 75% off list price. Hizb’Allah knows a bargain when they see it!

    But I’m sure that Yankel is just a merchant , and Mossad and Rafael were the brains of packing a few grams of C4 into beeper cases with a triggering circuit that could be activated with a single page to all beepers.

    HizB’Allah should cool it for a while since Israel has a few more surprises in the pipeline if they continue firing rockets into Israel. Maybe now that many HizB’Allah fighters are maimed, Israel will attack in earnest to easily sweep them out of exixrence

  3. I don’t think it’s possible to have a battery do anything more than burn with expected components found in a pager, far more likely someone in the pager factory added a little spice to this batch.
    Also likely these would have had components from Israeli tech.

    • That thought struck me as well: the only inflammable part of a pager would be the battery, as anyone who remembers the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 saga w/ exploding phones. It happened as a result of trying to make the battery too thin, making the electrodes on the top right of the battery susceptible to bending. That decreased the separation b/w the positive and negative tabs of that battery, resulting in thermal runaway and short circuits

      I wonder whether these pagers had such batteries in their design. And even if they did, what could have been done to the software, even at a firmware level, to force the battery to run so hot that it exploded?

      Exit question: I had no idea anyone still used pagers, since a cellphone on vibrate mode would achieve the same purpose

    • Israel intercepted the shipment and added a few grams of plastic explosives to each of the pagers (I think I read that in Breitbart).

    • I heard they got their pagers from Iran, which means Mossad has penetrated Iran. I think the moral of the story is don’t mess with Israel. The Muslims never learn it,

  5. It seems obvious that the war against Hezbollah has begun in earnest as its leadership is now compromised by injuries and its “stealth” form of of communication is destroyed. Now Hezbollah must communicate by voice and much of it will be intercepted.

    It was a brilliant move by Israel and makes one wonder what other rabbits are still lurking in the Mossad hat. There are many experienced people saying Israel cannot win against Hezbollah based on results of a previous war. Not one of them envisioned this explosive result of long-term planning. As the war in Ukraine has shown, past results are not valid indicators of future performance because the old evaluations are significantly out of date.

    Israel can win and the US should undermine the leadership of Iran, the Medusa Head, before real treaties exist between Iran and Russia that will give Iran efficient nuclear bomb technology.

  7. Israel should attack now while they are in disarray. This terrorist Iranian proxy attacked on October 8 without Israel firing a rocket. Since, it’s been back and forth with 80,000 Israelis displaced. America should back Israel, as negotiations never work with Islam. However, I do not expect the appeasing, weak Biden/Harris government to ever make a correct decision.

      Here a similar situation exists with approx. 3,000 of Hizb’Allah leaders seriously injured (mostly blown off fingers and mangled hands. It is like a “cherry bomb” firework going of in one’s hand. If Israel attacks now, these people with the missing fingers and hands will be hard pressed to defend against Israel. By the way, so far Nasrallah seems to be AWOL. Wonder if his pager was part of Yankel’s batch?

  10. Al Jjzazeera is reporting 9 dead and 2,750 injured in Lebanon and Syria. There are a lot of Hezbollah terrorist that had their cojones blown off.

  14. Think blasting cap. The battery pack was made into a electrically detonated blasting cap, a rather large one. If you look at all of injuries it was blasted ‘nads, abdominal wounds, fingers gone, and serious face damage. Because Hezbollah will not give women anyplace in their organization they don’t have the propaganda of a mother of 8 getting blow up. 10 are dead so far and everyone of them was Islamic SOG.

    • They have already claimed that a young girl was killed–but a little girl having a Hizb’allah pager seems pretty damned unlikely…

      • Apparently that young girl’s father was a Whizz-bowl-ahh member. I don’t know if he asked her to pass him the phone, or if she was standing very close to him when it exploded, or what.

        If that is really true, then it’s tragic indeed. However, it’s the fault of Whizz-bowl-ahh and HamArse.

    Iran-backed Hezbollah has vowed to retaliate against Israel, whose military declined to comment on the blasts.

    The plot appears to have been many months in the making, several sources told Reuters.
    Hezbollah fighters have been using pagers as a low-tech means of communication in an attempt to evade Israeli location-tracking, two sources familiar with the group’s operations told Reuters this year.

    But the senior Lebanese source said the devices had been modified by Israel’s spy service “at the production level.””

    • “”The Mossad injected a board inside of the device that has explosive material that receives a code. It’s very hard to detect it through any means. Even with any device or scanner,” the source said.

      The source said 3,000 of the pagers exploded when a coded message was sent to them, simultaneously activating the explosives.

      Another security source told Reuters that up to three grams of explosives were hidden in the new pagers and had gone “undetected” by Hezbollah for months.”
