The jihadis wanted to “murder as many Israelis as possible.”

“Estimate: Car bomb near Ateret was intended for attack on school bus,” Israel National News, September 3, 2024 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
Israel’s defense echelon believes that the car bomb discovered early Monday morning was intended to be used against a school bus filled with children, which was scheduled to leave the town heading towards schools in the region.
The car bomb was discovered at approximately 4:30a.m. Monday morning near the town of Ateret in the Binyamin Region. Security forces blocked traffic in the area after the vehicle was identified, preventing school buses and other traffic from driving through.
Investigators arriving at the scene found that the vehicle contained a device containing 49 kilograms of explosive material, along with a small camera. The camera relayed live footage to the terrorists, who observed the scene remotely and waited for the “right” moment to activate the car bomb, so as to murder as many Israelis as possible….

This is who Palestinian “resistance” is. Blow up a school bus filled with children. The reality is that Jewish people cannot live with such an enemy. If it were only a few it is possible to find them “off the street” so to speak but there are hundreds or thousands of them. Impossible to solve with police actions. A new and much more fundamental solution is necessary with such a demented, inhuman enemy.
If and when those who planted this roadside car bomb are apprehended then what? Put in a prison after conviction to await their freedom in some trade for Jewish men or women? Thankfully the bomb was unsuccessful but will that be the end of it? Absolutely not. If they are convicted they must , at the very least, be imprisoned with a “cannot be traded or released in any hostage trades” status. They must serve their time with no hope of being freed. If Israel is incapable of imprisoning them under that condition then the Death Penalty is the only solution. Israel’s prisons cannot be turned into revolving doors with a “get out of jail” card every time Jews are kidnapped and held as trading partners.
Israel is dealing with an enemy whose inhumanity has no limitations. A reappraisal of how to deal with this enemy must be discussed. Is exiling thousands of these terrorists a possibility? DOes Israel have any other choice?

The problem is simple but the solution is complex — too complex for me to think of one that would work. Unfortunately the situation is further complicated by the not so subtle underlying anti-Semitism prevalent in the West which insists on handicapping Israel wherever possible.
Just when Israel was making headway in normalizing relations with many Arab countries the Palestinians pull this move (Oct 7/23) to undermine this. Coincidence? Of course not.
I don’t remember who said it but this quote rings truer today than ever: “If the Arabs put down their guns there would be peace. If Israel put down theirs there would be no more Israel”. But, as you point out, “Israel is dealing with an enemy whose inhumanity has no limitations”. So Israel just succeeds in buying more time.

I ask that Israel put all “solutions” on the table. Nothing held back. Israel’s enemies never withhold anything based on moral and humane reasons. That is because those concerns stop at the door marked “Infidels” who do not deserve any humane accommodations due to not being Muslims. We know this is not 800 but for them it is.

NO-ONE can live with such an enemy.
I would take it a step further – Their preaching of hate means that they cannot live with themselves. What muslim country are people migrating to?

And these are the *people* that others all over the world are saying are the “victims” of a genocide and that Israel must cease trying to stop them from murdering more Jews, including large numbers of small children. Just as they did on Oct 7 when they murdered the smallest children, they will keep on murdering as long as they breathe air.
