Yahya Sinwar and other top Hamas leaders have been running from tunnel to tunnel to escape the IDF. The truth is that should Israel ease up on Hamas leaders in any deal, those determined jihadists will regroup and double down. Sinwar has warned that “October 7 was just a rehearsal.” He knows that Israel values the lives of its citizens.
Take, for instance, the 2006 abduction of Gilad Shalit. Israel ultimately released over 1,000 Palestinian prisoners, many of whom had been convicted of deadly terror attacks against Israeli citizens, in exchange for Shalit’s freedom.
Among those 1000 plus Palestinians released in 2011 was October 7 mastermind and Hamas co-founder Yahya Sinwar.
Such is the brutal dilemma Israel faces when it negotiates with deadly terrorists, not to mention the leftist globalists on Israel’s back, busy empowering Hamas and Iran (whether intentionally or not).
“Israel Offers Hamas Leader Safe Exit From Gaza in Bid to End War,” by Natalia Drozdiak and Eric Martin, Bloomberg, September 12, 2024:
(Bloomberg) — Israel proposed giving Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar safe passage out of Gaza in exchange for the group freeing the hostages it holds and giving up control of the strip, a senior official said, even as doubts deepen about the two sides’ ability to reach any cease-fire accord.“
I’m ready to provide safe passage to Sinwar, his family, whoever wants to join him,” Israel hostage envoy Gal Hirsch said in an interview Tuesday in the Bloomberg News Washington bureau. “We want the hostages back. We want demilitarization, de-radicalization of course — a new system that will manage Gaza.”
Hirsch said he put the offer of safe passage on the table a day and a half ago and declined to characterize the response so far. He reiterated that Israel would also be willing to release prisoners it holds as part of any deal….

You cannot negotiate with people such as Sinwar, because it will only lead to more atrocities against Israeli civilians later, as well as more deaths and injuries amongst Israeli troops.

The whole war was handled in a poor manner from the get go.. Israel should have gone into Rafah first. They would have found smuggling tunnels not given Sinwar enough time to strategize. More hostages would have been saved. They should have blitzed Gazah early on in the campaign and powered ahead.. Trump is correct about that.
Too much capitulatiin to the US . I am so disappointed in our failed USA administration. Because Israel has to pay realty to US they are hamstrung.
I hope Americans realize this. Not only is Israel suffering, but the whole West is caving under the weight of these failed policies I hope voters are not snowed by Kamala Hatris..

The stupid West can’t see that the same Ashkenazi Jews who saved Byzantium from the Seige of Vienna are saving the ungrateful westerners today, I personally have been driven into so much fatalistic and nihilistic sentiment in my own brain that I would appreciate it if somehow the ungrateful West will get some hot smoldering spillover from the dam Israel has their fingers in. When it does you’ll hear my Schadenfreude around the world 🌍

You have GOT to be kidding me! Some people are literally too stupid to live. I mean, seriously!
It’s almost like Israel doesn’t want to even win this war. Good grief.

“give Sinwar safe passage”,,,,, who are they trying to kid,
Sinwar has signed the contract,
HE WILL NEVER BE SAFE FROM MOSAD …
Mosad is without any doubt the most efficient and skilled policing institution on the planet, MOSAD make the FBI and the CIA look like kindergarten children …
MOSAD … all the decent people in the world love you ..
Sinwar will think he’s free for a very short time, 🙂

Such a sad predicament for the Israelis. They feel so strongly for the hostages that they are willing to let Sinwar, the murderous coward, go free.
somehistory says
This would be the second time the murderous ghoul was set free in exchange for hostages. The first time, he was in an Israeli prison and set free with a lot of other terrorists in exchange for one man.
Now, if he is set free again, the remaining hostages may all be dead. But if not, he will still be a free ghoul, one who has said that Oct was just the beginning.
Ben says
That’s a really dumb move to want to give that terrorist POS safe passage out od gaza. Does Israel want to win the war ??? You have got to be ruthless in a war if you want to win it and i just don’t see that mentality in Israel, unfortunately. Whatever Israel does is going to get criticized anyway by the haters. So in that case its better to be extremely ruthless than humanitarian soft.

It’s a good trade.
All the hostages (the dead and the survivors) which so many Israelis are understandably demanding, in exchange for his safe exit from Gaza.
He’ll be gone and the IDF, which will then no longer be hunting for him, can “take care of business”, à la Hannieh, when the time is right.
Bridgette says
Israel can always get him another time. Hamas has been decimated. If they don’t take the deal then the bigmouth leftists can shut their mouths that includes the UN.
CalvinsLutheran says
These Leftist idiots of today’s world are so catatonically stupid that they insist that The Protocols are an actual true document which if true Sinwar should simply walk dead into Mossads’ crosshairs and jump INTO the velvety arms of those 72 houris! Heck if this POS could shrink and hide behind a subatomic particle it would scream out “ Hey Mossad!!! Sinwar is hiding behind me!!!” Remember the Jews were the brilliant ones who first split atoms ⚛️ you donkey!!! And yes if they have to split an atom to find you they can (and will) BTW No pun intended.

Not a bad deal. If Sinwar is smart, he should take it. He can occupy Haniyeh’s pad in Doha: I hear it has been vacant for some weeks now
