Israel continues to confound its enemies. Time for Old Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to issue another demand for a ceasefire.
“IDF hits Houthis with most powerful strike of war,” Jerusalem Post, September 29, 2024:
The IDF’s impressive strike against Yemen’s Houthis on Sunday was the most powerful one against the terror group since the beginning of the war, even exceeding the massive strike on Hodeidah in July, sources told The Jerusalem Post ahead of the IDF announcement.
Dozens of Israeli aircraft, including F-15I fighter planes, participated in the operation, striking 1,800 kilometers from Israeli territory after the Houthis fired three ballistic missiles on the Tel Aviv and central Israel areas in recent weeks, including one on Saturday.
The Houthi Health Ministry said the attack resulted in the deaths of four fighters and the wounding of 29, without any attempt to distinguish between Houthi members and civilians.
According to Hezbollah-affiliated outlet Al Mayadeen and confirmed by the IDF, the targets of the strikes were oil reserves in Ras Issa and also the port of Hodeidah.
Additional targets included power plants and a seaport used to import oil, which the Houthis used to transfer Iranian weapons to the region, in addition to military supplies and oil, IDF reported.
“Israeli aggression targets the city of Hodeidah,” Houthi-owned Lebanese media Al Masirah posted.
The IDF noted that the Houthis have cooperated with Iraqi militias, who are Iranian proxies, to attack.
Pressed, multiple military sources implied – both Sunday and last week – that Israel is still trying to avoid directly striking these militias. This is done to prevent unnecessarily complicating the situation in that country for the US, which Jerusalem hopes can maintain its influence there.
The military said it was impressive that the air force had managed such a large and complex operation while also attacking Israel’s adversaries in Lebanon, Gaza, the West Bank, and elsewhere – all in the last 16 hours….

““Israeli aggression”? It’s really Israeli assertion. Asserting the legal, moral, and ethical *right* to self-defense and preservation of life for her citizens.
Just as hamas and hezbollah ‘asked for it,’ so have the houthis. They are so far away from Israel, and that little nation has done nothing against Yemen, there is no *reason* for the terror group to attack, except for the same *reason* the other terror groups attacked. The reason being islam’s ghoulish adherents want to eliminate all of the Jews everywhere and take over the Land which belongs to them.
But the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God Who put young David on His throne and fought on behalf of those ancient people, has said through His prophets what will happen in these times we are all living.

The Houthis struggle to shut down international shipping through the Red Sea and Suez Canal, firing missiles at unarmed tankers and container ships, and even attacking US Navy warships, an open declaration of war on the United States itself. And yet, the administration responds with only cosmetic missile attacks now and again, looking to Israel to fight the fight while at the same time freeing up the Islamic terrorists friendly Democrats to condemn Israel.
Our military should respond to attacks on our ships and sailors, even after our defense missile systems knock them out of the air before they hit. Yemen’s seaports and Houthi weapons caches should be wiped off the map, in protection of shipping and our sailors at the same time.

“The raids follow an unprecedented series of strikes from Israel. In the early hours of Monday, Israel struck central Beirut for the first time since 2006. It also confirmed it had killed Fateh Sherif Abu el-Amin, a Hamas leader, in Lebanon.”
Guess the el-amin hamas terrorist thought Lebanon would be a safe place to hide.

Tiny Israel is fighting the West’s war against Islam, damn cowards in US and Europe…we should all be backing Israel and helping them destroy Islamic fascism wherever it rears its ugly head.
I really hope Trump wins, but he made a huge mistake by overturning Roe, now he’s turned millions of voters against him and the GOP….stupid move. Despite that, given how many wars are going on, he still has a chance of winning because people tend to vote right wing during wartime…also the Dems are the worst option esp. under Kamala/Biden.

Trump didn’t overturn Roe vs. Wade. Trump nominated conservative, constitutionalist justices to the US Supreme Court. It was the Supreme Court that rendered the Dobbs decision, and returned the issue of abortion law to the voters, where it belongs.

Exactly.

Congratulations to Israel and its IDF for doing what the United States should have done long ago.
Ralph says
Amen to what you said, James. The USA presently does not have the stones to do the job it should. Under Trump, this would not be the case.
God bless Israel and the Israeli people.
James Lincoln says
Thank you for your reply, Ralph.

The US Navy and Marine Corps are forever in the IDF’s debt. They did what Biden and Harris refuse to let US Forces in the region do.
