How little does Israel trust the Biden-Harris administration? So little that it only provided information about its Beirut strike that took out the Hezbollah terror while it was underway.
The US had no advance warning of Israel’s strike on Hezbollah’s central headquarters in Dahiyeh, Beirut on Friday, the Pentagon said, and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin learned of the operation while it was underway during a phone call from Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
While “it was underway” is bad. Not even beforehand.
Israel was so concerned about either Hezbollah being tipped off or some sort of last-minute interference that it provided the information only once the attack was already underway.
The same thing happened with “Pagergeddon.” Defense Minister Gallant called Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin minutes before the pagers began exploding and provided no details.
All of this is bad. It means that Israel doesn’t trust this administration and it means that a crucial defense relationship has decayed to the point where we don’t have timely intelligence about what’s going on.
This situation is even worse than it was under the Obama-Biden administration and the fact that the Biden-Harris administration has moved people into key defense positions who are either compromised or enemy operatives at the National Security Council and the Pentagon likely isn’t helping.
Every White House response to an Israeli action is to call for a ceasefire while the average response to an Islamic terrorist attack is to ignore it.
The Biden-Harris administration has made it publicly clear that it’s not sharing intelligence with Israel. It can’t be too surprised when Israel doesn’t share it right back.

This Administration has previously demanded that Israel not take action or delay our military engagement and then proceeded to announce to our enemies, our intentions! This is a country that signed a strategic military alliance with us in the late 1980s/early 1990s? It doesn’t act this way during the past 4 years. In the Obama Administration allegedly; we were in-flight to bomb the Iranian Nuclear site before it went online. We received a call from Joe Biden telling us that if we proceeded further that US military craft would be ordered to shoot us down. Our mission was scrubbed! Israel was smart, & did the right thing. I had been urging for the last 3 years that they not share information w/ the Dems, who’d only leak such data to Hamas & Hizbullah. Reason they hadn’t been taking them out earlier were the Dems in the White House – whether it was Susan Rice or Jake Sullivan or Phil Gordon. Even in this case, they should not have told them about it at all: Sullivan, Kirby & others should have learned about it from CNN
Also, this month, starting today, Israel should do a ground invasion of Lebanon & reoccupy the entire area south of the Litani. This time, don’t listen to the UN or allow for UNIFIL: last time, Hizbullah just kicked them out, or co-opted them. Instead, Israel should try & regain trust lost in 2000 when it abandoned the South Lebanon Army of Saad Haddad, & give them total ownership of that area. In fact, try & get as many Lebanese Christians – Maronite, Melkite, et al to occupy that area as a buffer, and police it rigorously. Drive the shi’a north, maybe into the Bekaa Valley, maybe into Syria. Just force Lebabon to be neutral until it can get a government as sensible as those in Manama & Abu Dhabi, and sign the Abraham Accords
One delightful side-effect of such a policy would be that it will be payback time for Netanyahu. Both Dem POTUS’ that he had to deal w/ – Bill Clinton & Barack Obama – tried to sabotage his election, Clinton pulling that off successfully (then they bitch about Russia!) This time, Netanyahu can do a slowburn of Hizbullah south of the Litani (y’know, minimizing civilian casualties & all that), an operation that will last all of October and beyond. That will have Kamala’s muslim votebank screaming for BDS, revenge & all that, and doing their worst – staying home, voting for Cornel West,…. I also saw a video of Alan Dershowitz, who claims to have been w/ Netanyahu last week. One of the things he said was that the reason Israel is going whole hog on Hamas & Hizbullah now is b’cos they fear that if Kamala is elected, she’d actually do what Biden only threatened to do: end munitions shipments to Israel, making it that much harder. They therefore want to make her irrelevant to any Middle East developments by the time she takes office, should the US be that unfortunate

One guy, I believe it was Colonel Kemp, said that iran plans to do what they have been threatening to do, so it makes sense for Israel to do now what they can to limit the possibilities of an iranian attack.
