Israel: Arab TV channel features speaker who says homosexuals should be killed

A hadith depicts Muhammad specifying the punishment for homosexual activity: “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, ‘Whoever you find doing the action of the people of Loot, execute the one who does it and the one to whom it is done.’” (Sunan Abu Dawud 4462)

Badran is wrong, however, about Christianity; there is no scriptural warrant, or warrant anywhere else, for executing homosexuals.

In any case, Queers for Palestine won’t get the message. They never do.

“‘They are unnatural’: Arab channel TV show guest calls for the execution of gay people,” Jerusalem Post, September 13, 2024:

An explicit call for the murder and execution of LGBT people was made in KAN 11 corporation’s broadcast, according to a complaint filed earlier this week by The Aguda – The Association for LGBTQ Equality in Israel.

The complaint concerns a program on the state-owned Arabic-language channel “Makan 33”, which is the sister channel to the primary state-owned KAN 11.

During the interview with media personality Saeed Badran, which was broadcast on Monday night, he made unprecedented statements against the gay community in Israel for several minutes.

Among other things, Badran said that “homosexuals are outside of nature” and that he supports killing them.

He also said that it wouldn’t matter if it were an Islamic (Shariah) state, Judaic (Halachic) state, or Christian state; all would execute gay people if they ruled by religion….

  1. In the U.S., there are certain far-right Christian preachers who have cited verses in the books of Leviticus and Romans to argue that LGBTQ people should be killed.

    However, Leviticus also says that people should be killed if they work on the Sabbath, take the Lord’s name in vain, or even if they talk back to their parents.

    Also, while there are verses in Romans that suggest that gays and lesbians are “worthy of death,” the list of sinners includes “the ungrateful, the incontinent, thieves, disobedient to parents, drunkards” and so on.

    In addition, recall that Jesus saved the life of an adulteress, who was about to be stoned to death for what was a capital crime (and she had even been caught in the act of adultery).

    So, it’s not as simple an issue as that gentleman tries to make it out as.

    • The difference is in the US, homosexuals are not being killed by Church leaders or Government. In Iran they are. In Iran they are. In Palestinian controlled areas they are. What do you think will happen to a “out of the closet” gay person in Yemen where Houthis rule? Islam is a medieval religion with medieval ideas about homosexuality.

    You cannot find a dumber more out of touch with reality than the political Left wing homosexual community. They are marching on behalf of the regimes that hang local Arab homosexuals in Palestinian controlled areas, Iran and Hezbollah and Iran.

      Even though it’s supposed to be a parody, it’s so realistic.

      Something that’s nearly as ridiculous as “Queers for Palestine” is far-Leftist Jews (Ben Shapiro calls them “JINO’s”, or “Jews In Name Only”) who call themselves “Jews for Gaza,” and who tear down posters of Israeli hostages, and deny that Israel has a right to defend itself, and so on.

  3. I think Saeed Badran should have just spoken for islam. Where is his evidence that had Israel been a Halachic theocracy, that homosexuals would have been killed? At worst, they’d have been incarcerated

    Also, he could easily make the comments in Arabic. One famous modus operandi of the Palis has been to say one thing in English for the consumption of the Western world, and another thing in Arabic for the consumption of muslims. Badran just continues in that vein
