“Millions of Christians are displaced in Africa. The news doesn’t care about it, politicians don’t talk about it, governments don’t talk about it, global politics don’t talk about it. Nobody talks about it.”
That’s right. Because it doesn’t fit anyone’s narrative. The political and media elites are aligned with the global jihad, and want to portray Muslims as victims. Christian leaders in the West want to pursue a fruitless and illusory dialogue with Muslim leaders. This leads both to ignore the persecution and genocide of Christians in Africa.
“Millions of African Christians are displaced by violence. Nobody is talking about it.” Open Doors, August 27, 2024:
As Pastor Barnabas walks through the camp where he lives, he points out the makeshift tents in every direction. There are hundreds of them with people huddled inside, seeking refuge from the sun. These are the women, men and children he pastors.
Thousands of people live here: an informal camp for internally displaced people (IDPs) in Benue State, northern Nigeria. “Each and every one you are seeing here, we are all Christians,” says Pastor Barnabas. “We are displaced because of violence.”
You can see the compassion register on his face as he talks, but there is something else, too: an authority that comes from a righteous anger that he and his church family have ended up in a camp like this.
It’s one of many similar IDP camps across sub-Saharan Africa, where 16.2 million Christians have been forcibly displaced by violence and conflict. It’s an astounding number. But most of the world doesn’t even know it’s happening.
“Millions of Christians are displaced, here in Nigeria,” says Pastor Barnabas. “Millions of Christians are displaced in Africa. The news doesn’t care about it, politicians don’t talk about it, governments don’t talk about it, global politics don’t talk about it. Nobody talks about it.”…
Last year, and for many years, more Christians were killed for their faith in Nigeria than the rest of the world combined. The same violent persecution is quickly spreading across other parts of sub-Saharan Africa, as Islamic extremist ideology spreads: as well as these murders, huge numbers of believers are injured, abducted, sexually assaulted or forced to flee from their homes. Pastor Barnabas can easily empathise with the people in the camp who have faced this violence. He’s been through exactly the same experience himself.
“I was on the farm with my brother, Everen, and his wife, Friday,” he remembers. “We heard shooting. We saw people running in different directions. We didn’t know what was happening.”
The community was being attacked by Fulani militants, a group of Islamic extremists who are responsible for many of the violent attacks in north central and central Nigeria. Pastor Barnabas and his family tried to run, but Everen and Friday didn’t manage to escape. “My brother was shot by the militants, and my brother’s wife was also shot and then macheted and killed by the militants,” he says. It’s been almost five years, but the pain of loss is still raw….
The motive of Islamic militant violence like this is clear: to destroy as many Christians and Christian communities as possible. “This attack is because we are Christians,” says Pastor Barnabas. “When they come to attack us, they call us ‘capari’. It means you don’t have any religion.” The militants don’t value their lives, because they are considered infidels….

It is the same everywhere. It is not just so called extremist Islam though. The problem is normal mainstream Islam and all version of Islam have the Quran as their so called holy book. Which teaches the Christians are infidels who are at best second class citizens to be a abused and terrorized, or simply slaughtered unless the Christians become Muslims.

But FALSE accusations were made against Israel in supposedly removing 900,000 ” Palestinians ” but who were told to do so as the 5 Arab countries were about ( and did ) invade Israel to kill it at birth, to get out the way and come back when Israel would be no more. Shame things worked out the exact opposite !

Imagine if those Christians had been armed and fought back.

Realist: good points. If many Muslim would spend as much time and effort working to improve themselves and their countries and communities, as they do messing about with non-Muslims, and oppressing and leeching off them, then they (and the world in general) would be infinitely better off.

Jesus warned all Christians when speaking with His apostles and other early disciples, “The world hates you because it hated me first.”
“You will be objects of hatred by all the nations on account of my name.”
“When they persecute you in one city, flee to the next. You will not complete the circuit of the cities before the Son of Man arrives.”
“Count the cost.” “He that endures to the end (of his life or the system) will be saved.”
“The days will be cut short, or no flesh will be saved. On account of the chosen ones, the days will be cut short.”
Jesus warned that even family members would turn on their Christian family to persecute them
But, in promising that the “days would be cut short,” Jesus gives all a reason for hope as we see just how bad things are.
“When you see all of these things, lift up your heads and stand erect as your deliverance if near.”

FOX reports
“Thousands of Christians ‘deliberately targeted’ and killed in Nigeria, new report says”
“FIRST ON FOX – The killing, persecution and displacement of Christians in Nigeria is “unrelenting” and “a time bomb”, according to a major new report.
Christians “are deliberately targeted”, as well as “Christian communities, their livelihood(s), faith leaders and places of worship”, according to the report by Open Doors International, a faith-based non-profit working to raise awareness of global persecution, aiming to mobilize prayer, support and action among Christians. Christians are reportedly becoming “an endangered species” there, the report says.”
“”Last year alone, in Nigeria there were more people that were killed because of their Christian faith than all other places in the globe combined,” Ryan Brown, the CEO Of Open Doors U.S., told Fox NewsDigital, adding “to be specific, there were 4998 Christians that were killed because of their faith in Nigeria last year.”
In testimonies recorded for the Open Doors International report, titled “No Road Home,” attacks on Christians are said to have been carried out by Islamist terror groups Boko Haram and the Islamic State of West Africa Province, and predominantly Muslim Fulani militants, who originally were herdsmen.
“When the Fulani gunmen came to attack, they could be heard shouting ‘Allahu Akbar (Allah is the greatest), we will destroy all Christians,'” one interviewee claimed in the report. Another added, “The Fulani started to shoot, burning houses. They burnt our animals and maize plants.”

Other interviewees report that in some cases, Christians are being forced to convert to Islam to get food, or to preserve their livelihood.
In the period from October 2019 to September 2023, the Observatory for Religious Freedom in Africa reports that 16,769 Christians were killed. Parts of Nigeria are reported to be predominantly unstable for people of all religions, but in the same period, 6,235 Muslims were killed – around a third of the number of Christians. Up to 49% of Nigeria’s population is said to be Christian.
The report highlights how persecution has forced Nigerian Christians to flee to other parts of the country and to become Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs.) “Extreme violence across parts of Nigeria over the last decade has resulted in mass displacement of Christian communities.”
Christians, the report adds, “have been singled out for violence, face harsh living conditions and experience faith-based challenges throughout their displacement journey.”
The situation is getting worse. In total, in 2014, the report claims there were 1.1 million IDPs in Nigeria. “As of 2023, there are 3.4 million.”
Christian Pastor Benjamin Barnabas was walking on his farm with his family when alleged Fulani militants “came with guns, machetes and sticks.” The pastor was beaten. “We lost everything that I had. Everything in my home and village was burnt, I was left with nothing.”
this man has been living in a tent for five years.
There is more on the page…about Christians being especially targeted by boko haram, being denied school, having to ‘convert’ for food, etc.
