For this, Israel should be receiving the gratitude, not the condemnation, of the entire world.

The Israel Defense Forces assessed on Friday that Hamas has been largely defeated militarily in the entire Gaza Strip, and it is now effectively a guerrilla terror group that will take some more time to dismantle.
Hamas is not the same organization it was pre-October 7, in terms of its command and control, weapons, rockets, and operatives, at least half of whom have been killed, according to the military.
The IDF has labeled dismantling Hamas as the most important war goal in the south, but returning the hostages is a more urgent goal and it is receiving priority.
“If we wait, it is not certain that there will be anyone to return,” the military is saying.
According to the IDF, before October 7, Hamas had some 30,000 fighters in the Gaza Strip, split into five regional brigades, 24 battalions and some 140 companies.
Each Hamas brigade had an anti-tank missile array, sniper and engineering teams, air defenses, and a rocket firing array, the IDF has said. Each brigade also had a number of outposts and strongholds in their respective regions.
The units have been systematically dismantled by the military over the long months of war….
The Hamas-run Gaza health ministry says more than 41,000 people in the Strip have been killed or are presumed dead in the fighting so far, though the toll cannot be verified and does not differentiate between civilians and fighters. Israel says it has killed some 17,000 combatants in battle and another 1,000 terrorists inside Israel on October 7….

But the real problem is the ever ongoing teaching of hatred for the infidel, for the Jews, most of all, and the endless aim to teach the glory of dying in the name of destroying infidels, destroying Israel and anyone who stands in their way. After WWII, Germany and Japan were ‘occupied’ but good and the teaching of hatred, so severe in Germany, much less so in Japan, were ended, and not allowed to irradiate the minds of the following generations. That’s what was most bogus about the phony Oslao accords- the promise to end the teaching of hatred against the Jews and infidels. That was a complete lie then, and now…. this is what has to be eradicated so that future generations don’t have to suffer this ugly Islamic murderous end goal that prevents any solution. And only thru strength can it be accomplished. Biden and Harris were no shows in the UN for Netanyahu’s speech, as was Binken ( otherwise the three are blinkin’ Winkin’ and Nod’). Enough of this endless weak will prattling about ‘deescalation, and preventing escalation’ by the west. This war has to be won.

The foundational problem is the Religion of Islam. Sure, there are moderate Muslims, and Muslims who quietly wait for, and support, with excitement, Islamic Jihad carried out on Infidels.
However, the real problem is the Qur’an and the aHadith, of which Islam is founded – both of which call for terrorism and destruction of Israel and also conversion, enslavement, and destruction of all other infidels, until Islam is the world religion. Only then, they say, will there be peace.
But Islam is full of corruption, and the sects attack and kill each other for not believing exactly like they do. There will never be peace under Islam – only death, chaos, enslavement, and destruction.

If Israel moves people back into the area, they can snitch on those who are vocal about losing their comrades to the evil Jews.
After all of this, it would be terrible if the ‘guerrillas’ regrouped and became like they were a year ago.
