In the Qur’an, a mysterious figure, known as Khidr in Islamic tradition, kills a boy in an apparently random and gratuitous attack. He then explains: “And as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared that he would overburden them by transgression and disbelief. So we intended that their Lord should substitute for them one better than him in purity and nearer to mercy.” (18:80-81)
And according to Islamic law, “retaliation is obligatory against anyone who kills a human being purely intentionally and without right.” However, “not subject to retaliation” is “a father or mother (or their fathers or mothers) for killing their offspring, or offspring’s offspring.” (Reliance of the Traveller o1.1-2).
Muslims commit 91 percent of honor killings worldwide. The Palestinian Authority gives pardons or suspended sentences for honor murders. Iraqi women have asked for tougher sentences for Islamic honor murderers, who get off lightly now. Syria in 2009 scrapped a law limiting the length of sentences for honor killings, but “the new law says a man can still benefit from extenuating circumstances in crimes of passion or honour ‘provided he serves a prison term of no less than two years in the case of killing.’” And in 2003 the Jordanian Parliament voted down on Islamic grounds a provision designed to stiffen penalties for honor killings. Al-Jazeera reported that “Islamists and conservatives said the laws violated religious traditions and would destroy families and values.”
“Femicide in Iran: 17-Year-Old Victim of Child Marriage Killed in So-Called ‘Honor’ Killing,” Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, September 11, 2024 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
Nazanin Balochi, a 17-year-old victim of child marriage, was murdered by her cousin in the city of Chanef, located in Nik Shahr County, Sistan and Baluchistan Province. The crime was reportedly motivated by so-called “honor.”
According to a report received by the Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on the morning of Saturday, September 7, 2024, Nazanin Balochi, from the village of Gowehch in Chanef, was shot dead by her cousin three weeks after separating from her husband, who had repeatedly abused her. Nazanin, forced into marriage at the age of 14, was killed by two shots to the head from a handgun.
The news outlet Haalvsh reported that the perpetrator, identified as “A.B.”, traveled from Chabahar to Nazanin’s family home on Friday, September 6, after learning of her separation….
However, the next morning, A.B. returned to Nazanin’s home and killed her in front of her 15-year-old sister. After committing the crime, he contacted his relatives, informing them of the murder and stating that Nazanin had pleaded for her life before he shot her.

That Islamic tyranny of Iran is based on Islam with its Sharia is, very much, anti-female towards both girls and women , the result of this has the outcome the cold- blooded murder of many young Muslim females by the horrific action of evil that is called , in the Islamic word ,by the unfitting term “honor killing.”
That savage religious male Muslim tradition of murderous misogyny of Islam.
A scholar of Islam who revealed the disturbing horrible truth in her book “Control of behavior and disregard for human life are key elements in Islam ideology.” Furthermore, the author also exposed that `” Women is Islam are considered unclean, deemed inferior even to dirt.” [1]
In addition, that horrendously cruel and deadly Islamic regime of Iran, which has the official title of “The Islamic republic of Iran” is based on Islam’s Sharia.
The Sharia supports and upholds and brutal callous and murderous Islamic practice which many Muslim males so very inappropriately call “honor killing.”
Therefore, it should be made known that the actual origin of Sharia is revealed in a Time –Life book with the title MESOPOTAMIA: THE MIGHTY KINGS copyright 1995. “For that future history book about the ancient pagan world of Mesopotamia informs the reader that “many Islamic laws resemble the Babylon and Assyrian forebears.” .page 150.
Therefore, Sharia has no value or worth.
Thus, it’s no wonder that those despots in power in that Sharia based Islamic tyranny might fear the collapse of their regime for it has a very weak foundation which is Sharia.
In other words, the Islamic tyrannical regime of Iran is grounded on only a foundation of sand.

After reading this article of horror, I wonder where the women’s rights groups are as this is a sad tale in an extremely long list of such atrocities. Where are the atrocious females, Tlaib, Omar and the rest of the so-called “squad?” In a real Islamic setting, Omar would have been killed for indiscretions a long time ago and I would love for the group to go to Mogadishu for lunch at a cafe along a major city street where they might find glory in being part of a news story about a bombing of the cafe.

Unfortunately, Ray, they’re too busy hating men to bother about the abuse of women

I was a police officer for 12 years beginning my career in the 1970s. I saw a lot of domestic abuse and was frustrated we couldn’t arrest a suspect if the assault didn’t occur in our presence. The victim had to go to the magistrate’s office and sign a warrant. After numerous killings where a woman who’d suffered abuse for a long period of time was murdered, states began to enact laws giving police more power to arrest suspects. There have been honor killings here in the United States as well. Maybe if the bleeding-heart liberals who advocate for Iran knew the truth about how Iran-as well as other Muslim countries-treats women, they’d end their support of that regime. But I’m not hopeful. Thanks Robert and staff for bringing us this important story so we can educate others about what is REALLY going on. Craig, North Carolina USA

“honor” and “killing” do not belong together. It’s murder and there is no honor in it.

The poor child. It was not “marriage,” and it wasn’t “honor” for him to murder her.
The poor girl;. a child, was a victim of legalized rape…not a bride, not a wife….but a rape victim who could not go to the police and accuse her rapist.
For three years, she was a victim of rape…who can say how often…and she could do nothing. Finally, she separates from the one abusing her….probably beat her as well as the rapes…and her cousin takes it upon himself to murder her.
And brags that not only did he shoot her, but she was begging him not to; begging him not to murder her..
This is demonic. I hope and pray that soon he gets his just desserts. Hanging would be too good for him. I hope he begs. The ghoul will reap as he has sown.
