Threats to impeach Macron started last month, and now, the far-left La France Insoumise party (LFI) has launched impeachment proceedings against him, with support from “Greens, the Communists and even the Socialists.”
The left has now fractured in France (and elsewhere) to create an even farther left, mutated strain of radicals who are aiming to seize power by whatever means possible. One can also observe the modus operandi of leftist radicals in America who are now threatening the life of former President Trump. They are inciting violence against him by falsely accusing him of being a “threat to democracy” while they are the real threat; opening the border for votes, despite threats to national security; and further sinking the economy.
The truth is that the far left is anti-democracy. They facilitate anarchy in many Western countries in order to destroy free society and usher in Marxist rule.
Emmanuel Macron has no one to blame but himself for steering France along the dangerous path it’s now on.
“Impeachment proceedings against France’s Macron pass first hurdle,” RFI, September 17, 2024:
Impeachment proceedings against the French president passed their first round of parliamentary scrutiny Tuesday when the assembly’s 22-person committee judged the procedure admissable, voting 12 to 10 in favour.
The procedure was launched by MPs from the hard-left France Unbowed (LFI) party – the largest group within the leftist NFP alliance.
The result of Tuesday’s vote came as little surprise, since NFP holds 12 seats in the bureau – the assembly’s highest collegiate authority.
NFP won the most votes in snap parliamentary elections in July, though it failed to secure an outright majority.
LFI has accused Macron of carrying out an “anti-democratic coup” after he ruled out choosing its pick for prime minister, naming veteran conservative politician Michel Barnier instead.
A petition, signed by more than 300,000 people, refers to Macron’s “unprecedented authoritarian drift … in the system of representative democracy”….

Interesting. Another case of one authoritarian pot calling another authoritarian kettle black.Neither Macron nor the far left give a monkeys about representative democracy or the French people as a whole.

That’s good news. Hopefully, this alliance b/w the French Left and Macron is so damaged that neither can prevent a future victory by Le Pen, Zemmour or anyone else who’s anti-islamic from coming to power

With Eric Zemmour in power, France would then have a true knight in shining armour at its head, ready & willing to defend its culture, identity, and values against those who intend to destroy them.
