Antisemitic attacks are over seven times more frequent than anti-Muslim attacks. This comes from the FBI Crime Data Explorer here. The corrupt and politicized FBI would love to show a spike in “Islamophobia” if it could. But it can’t.
This data belies the increasingly common linkage of “antisemitism” with “Islamophobia,” as if both Jews and Muslims were facing vigilante attacks on an equal basis. The inclusion of “Islamophobia” is clearly just an attempt to soften the rage of Muslims in the U.S. over the expression of any concern about antisemitism. Ultimately, there should be zero incidents in both category, but to equate them is a manifestation of a politically motivated myopia and deliberate distortion of reality.

Strange set of stats, because the anti-islamic and anti-Sikh figures relate to ‘religion’ (a mutable characteristic), whereas the rest relate immutable things like race and sexual orientation (immutable). So two entirely different kinds of ‘prejudice’ are being compared, one rational where it is perfectly reasonable to be opposed to a religious philosophy and thence those claim their behaviour is controlled by it, and irrational, where the logic of prejudging a person’s character purely on their ethnic background is always going to be highly dubious. It would be more interesting to compare anti-islamic with anti-Christian, anti-Judaism and anti-Hindu (etc.) incidents, particularly where one particular ‘religion’ seems to spend so much time extolling its ‘peaceful’, ‘tolerant’ virtues – against all the evidence!

Not just that, a lot of the categories are subsets of others. Like Anti-Lesbian (female) (really, what other type is there?) falls under anti-Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender (mixed group). What’s the point in having these? Take each case, categorize them in exactly one category, and leave it there. Like if a Jewish trannie was attacked b’cos of its sexual perversion, then put it under the anti-LGBT category, but if it is attacked by college jihadists for being a “Zionist”, then put it under anti-Jewish hate
I was surprised that anti-Hindu was lower than anti-Sikh in the list, given that after Jews and Christians, Hindus are the other targets of hate by the Left

You are right, Infidel (as usual). One *reason* to a victim is sufficient and that one should be the reason the attacker, etc. chose as his.
I haven’t seen much anti-Sikh stuff. One case on a tv show about a young man who was murdered by a rival and the victim’s sometime girl friend. And a gang of them in CA killing a young mother and her baby.
But, we see here on JW, that Hindus are often victims.
I didn’t see Hindus or Christians listed.

I wonder if sucker punch (old) East Asian is considered as hate crime or not. Sounds plenty of such incident.
Which is worse, placing a bacon on a mosque, saying an “n” word to a black guy, or punching some old East Asian and sending him/her to hospital? Seems the order will be quite different for different people.
