The call for Elghawaby’s resignation came after she demanded that colleges and universities hire more Muslim professors. This was necessary, she claimed, because since Oct. 7, “a dangerous climate has festered on post-secondary campuses.” That’s true, but it involves Muslim and leftist students menacing Jewish and pro-Israel students, not the other way around.
To remedy what she claims is “Islamophobia” on campus, “she suggested colleges and universities could defuse the unrest by doing more to support freedom of expression.” That’s just laughable. The pro-jihad point of view is the only one that gets enunciated at most colleges and universities today. The people whose freedom of expression is being restricted are defenders of Israel and those who speak honestly about the motivating ideology behind jihad violence. What Elghawaby apparently means by “freedom of expression” is the freedom to harass Jews unopposed and unhindered.

The Quebec government demanded the resignation of Canada’s anti-Islamophobia representative after she sent a letter to post-secondary institutions urging them to hire more Muslim, Arab and Palestinian professors, Canadian media reported.
The letter, dated August 30, was criticised Friday by the Quebec government and it resulted in a stern rebuke demand for her resignation from Quebec’s Minister of Education Pascale Dery.
“Amira Elghawaby needs to mind her own business,” Dery wrote on X. “We are talking about the same person who has insulted Quebecers on several occasions. She has no legitimacy to ask our colleges and universities what to do. We repeat: she must resign.”
Elghawaby wrote to the heads of colleges and universities that since the start of the Israeli Gaza war on October 7, a dangerous climate has festered on post-secondary campuses.
She suggested colleges and universities could defuse the unrest by doing more to support freedom of expression, giving personnel information on Islamophobia and hiring more Muslim, Arab and Palestinian professors.
Several pro-Palestinian encampments sprang up on Canadian universities this summer….

Try stating or copying something from the un-holy Qur’an that expresses, ““O you who believe, do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends. They are friends of one another. He among you who takes them for friends is of them. Indeed, Allah does not guide wrongdoing people.” (Qur’an 5:51)“You will find the Jews and the idolaters the most vehement of mankind in hostility to those who believe.” (Qur’an 5:82) and there will be consequences. It is perfectly fine with most on the left to insult anyone who is conservative and especially Jewish, but to express the truth about Islam and its un-holy Qur’an, one will be tarnished as a bigot.
It amazes me to think that the leftist press still has only one major event to invoke about how the Muslims are persecuted which was the mosque in Christchurch, New Zealand where some graffiti was sprayed on the exterior while never mentioning the tens of thousands of Christians being slaughtered in Africa or where Hindus in Pakistan and Bangladesh are beaten and even killed. Someone needs to educate this woman, Amira Elghawaby, about the true nature of Islam since her local mosque seems to have neglected to do so.

So, from what I read from this story and elsewhere her grand position is by Federal appointment and the complaint against her is from the Province of Quebec by its Minister of Education. Does that equate to a “demand by the Government of Quebec”?
I don’t think anything will come of it even though she is self-evidently grossly stupid.
Don’t tell her that Canada’s motto (translated from its Latin) is “From Sea to Sea” -she might push to change it to something else (translated from the Arabic).
