Canada: Leftist teachers force middle school students to wear ‘Colonizer’ t-shirts, march in pro-Hamas protest

“Toronto students forced to wear ‘Colonizers’ shirts at anti-Israel protest,” by Danielle Greyman-Kennard, Jerusalem Post, September 21, 2024:

Middle school students were forced to take part in a protest in Toronto earlier this week, where teachers allegedly instructed them to wear blue shirts to identify themselves as “settlers” and “colonizers,” Canadian media and government officials reported on Friday.

Parents had been told the 7th and 8th-grade students were at the protest to “observe,” but videos and witnesses who spoke to the Toronto Sun revealed that the students were encouraged to take an active role.

‘You’ll get over it’

While the protest had been in support of the Grassy Narrows First Nation and the ongoing water crisis, anti-Israel chants reportedly quickly took over.

One Jewish student expressed their [sic] discomfort to their teacher about the anti-Israel chants, the student’s cousin told the Sun. The teacher allegedly responded, “You’ll get over it.”…

An Indian student who recently migrated to Canada also reportedly asked the teacher to stop referring to him as a “colonizer.”

One parent told Toronto 640 that they felt duped into giving permission for their child to be taken into a protest….

  4. Marxists and socialist Jew-haters have taken over all the teacher’s unions in Canada. It is no longer safe for Canadian Jewish students to be in any of the public school systems in Canada.

    This is just insane–how is it legal to do this to schoolchildren? Hopefully it is *not* legal in Canada yet.

    • As per usual in these crazy toon times it evidently matters not whether legal or illegal, things increasingly are so distorted in all societal institutions so as to promote one thing and undermine another and we all know which is which and what is what.

  7. I’ve lived in Toronto for decades. It’s turned into a very disgusting and sick place …. especially the last 9 years or so under turdo-ammad.
