This is why women must cover their faces. The onus is entirely on them to remove temptation from men, not upon men to control themselves.

In newly released remarks from a recent visit to Kunduz, Taliban leader Hibatullah Akhundzada described the faces of women and girls as “a source of temptation” and emphasized that they should be covered in public.
His comments, aired on Taliban-run national television, were part of a speech reaffirming the Taliban’s commitment to enforcing a strict interpretation of Sharia law across Afghanistan.
“The faces of women and girls are a source of temptation, but young people, influenced by 20 years of American presence, do not understand this,” Akhundzada said in the audio message. “Now is the time for full implementation of Sharia in Afghanistan.”
This statement follows previous Taliban edicts, including the group’s “Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice” law, which deems women’s faces and voices as ‘awrah’—parts of the body that must be concealed—and prohibits women from leaving their homes without a male guardian.
These rules have drawn sharp criticism from the United Nations and human rights organizations….

So much for those exceedingly naive and witless journalists and commentators who were believing this was a “kinder gentler Taliban” and that they were going to respect the women. That’s the kind of lies the Taliban leadership in the city were feeding the Western press. Meanwhile, in the countryside, Taliban were going house to house demanding the family bring out every girl under 12, as they needed brides for the fighters. I know this because the Christian mission group Global Catalytic Ministries was working to help families escape to the mountains, and also to smuggle out young women and girls–the most vulnerable of the population at that time–to save them from the rapacious “kinder and gentler” Taliban. They did manage to get a great many out, to places like eastern Europe, in a contemporary “underground railway” system.
That whole botched withdrawal catastrophe should have been a permanent blotch on the record of Biden/Harris. Alas, they quickly “moved on” and so did the press. A total embarrassment to America; they couldn’t have done much worse if they’d planned to. One has to wonder if maybe they did. Everything else they do seems designed to destroy the country.

I should have said every girl 12 and over. That was the line they were drawing at that time. The press of course knew nothing of it, until the ministry operatives started to spread the truth on the topic, of what the Taliban were really like–what they like before, and what they are still. In short order, it was clear what they still were; no women in university. No women in jobs. No women being educated. Now, the natural devolution, via Islam–living women mummified in blue bedsheets. They are alive, but they may feel dead inside over what has happened.
My heart breaks for all those young women and girls who had gotten a taste of what it was like to be free. Plus for the many men and women who worked with the U.S. and were then just abandoned. SHAME on Biden and accomplices.

I have seen 5 year old girls covered from head to toe, only face hands and feet visible in Malaysia and Indonesia while the 5 year old boys run around in shorts and short sleeved shirts, and this is a School Uniform.
If they find it necessary to cover up the entire body of a five year old wee girl so her Father, Brother, Uncle or next door neighbor will not rape her then that should tell every Western feminist what islamic teachings are all about.
