One thing I forgot to mention in the past about “The Critical Qur’an” is that you could have started a religion based on that book ?
About Hatun’s analysis of the script, I found it fascinating, since I was under the impression that Turks wouldn’t be familiar w/ it, since they had switched under Ataturk from the Roman to the Nastaliq scripts. The discussion on Aramhaic was interesting as it suggests that the Arab invasions in the 7th century started in Damascus, rather than Medina, and that this was really a Syraic takeover of the region after the rapid collapse of the Byzantine and Sassanid rule in the region (the complete elimination of the Sassanids as far as they went)

I am just pleased that Hatun Tush is alive. A while back, Jay Smith was concerned as he had not seen Hatun Tush at Speakers Corner, Marble Arch, London for a long while and it was thought she could be murdered or abducted and held.

Is Allah eternal or did he create himself? If he created himself what was he before his own creation?
As the Holy Qur’an is eternal, does that mean that it is older than Allah himself? If that is the case it it holier than Allah?
If Allah is the one and true god, why is he not the one and only creator, but only the best of creators?
What makes Allah a better creator than Isa, who as a child formed doves of clay and blew life into them?
If Allah is one, all knowing and all powerful, how come that he needs a female partner “of his own kind” to have a son?
If there are females of “Allah’s own kind” Allah is not one but a representative of the species of Allahs!
In Islam it is very important to stress the virgin birth by Mary, the mother of Isa. It was the archangel Gabril who blew into Mary to make that happen. Does that make Gabril a greater creator than Allah himself?
I am here to learn so please enlighten me.
