Jordan has been forced to pick a side, and has taken into account its history with America and Israel and its analysis of the situation its Arab neighbors vis-à-vis Iran, all weighed against the mischief that Iran has been creating in Jordan. This has, of course, not sat well with Iran. Yet the timing is in Jordan’s best interests. Jordan wants to appear “moderate,” particularly in light of Israel’s war on Hamas since October 7. Pro-Hamas, Muslim Brotherhood protests and riots have rocked Jordan, posing a serious threat to the Hashemite Kingdom. According to the Washington Institute:
Tehran and its proxies have been doing everything they can to destabilize Jordan during the Gaza war, from inciting protests and increasing drug and weapons smuggling to escalating armed threats from Iraq.
Nonetheless, in a last ditch effort, Jordan’s foreign minister, Ayman Safadi, visited Iran in early August in an effort to prevent a wider war. Nothing substantial appeared to come from the visit. Days later, Jordan and Saudi Arabia notified Iran that it will not be allowed to use their airspace to attack Israel.
And now, Jordan has gone even farther, allowing Israel use of its airspace to counter any incoming Iranian attacks.

The source emphasized that Jordan’s actions are consistent with its strategic alliance with the United States, despite its public denials of such cooperation. This revelation comes amid heightened tensions following the recent killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, which Iran attributes to Israel, although Israel has not officially confirmed or denied involvement.…

What would happen to Jordan’s King and family if Israel disappeared (The goal of Iran and its proxies)? The King would be next, and Jordan would be annexed into “Palestine”. Why does Jordan refuse “Palestinian” refugees? Because they attempted a coup and tried to take over Jordan when they were allowed. An alliance with devout Muslims is temporary at best. And the result in history is often betrayal and death. But an alliance with Israel is different. The teachings and practice of Judaism are far different from those of Islam.

It only wants Saudi Arabia to OFFICIALLY make the same announcement, it has already said Iran will not be allowed to use their airspace to attack Israel.

It’s the Jewish temple. Jordan was designated the Arab state in 1922 and should have NO presence west of the Jordan.
