The bodies of six Israeli hostages have been retrieved from Gaza during an overnight military operation in Khan Younis, Israeli authorities said Tuesday, as the latest ceasefire negotiations continue.
In a joint announcement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Israeli Security Agency (ISA) named them as Yoram Metzger, Alexander Dancyg, Avraham Munder, Chaim Peri, Nadav Popplewell and Yagev Buchshtab.
All but Munder had been announced dead in recent months by the Israeli military.
“Tonight our forces returned the bodies of six of our hostages who were held by the murderous terrorist organization Hamas,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement on Tuesday, thanking those involved in the operation for their “bravery and determined action.”
“Our hearts ache for the terrible loss,” he said.
Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said that the IDF and ISA had entered Hamas tunnels in a “complex operation” to retrieve the hostages’ bodies.
“We will continue working to achieve the goals of this war – returning the hostages to Israel and dismantling Hamas,” Gallant said on X….

hamas has proven for all to see, that they are evil, bent on evil, and have no real desire for a cease fire. They just want Israel to cease firing at them, while they continue the slaughter.

How can Israel negotiate with these Hamas murderers? This is exactly what Sinwar and Hamas want to do to every Israeli Jewish citizen. It gives them joy and satisfaction to put a bullet in the head of male victims and a bullet in the genital area of females after gang raping them.
Germans methodically murdered millions of Jews and treated them harshly but I believe that Palestinians are even more mentally deranged than were German Nazis. Palestinians enjoy the torture and humiliation of Jews more than did German Nazis. Don’t forget that the Nazis had to choose a special SS member force to run the crematoriums. Regular German military could not be trusted to withstand the stress of killing Jews daily. That problem doesn’t exist with Hamas. With Palestinians, any Hamas member is a psychotic killer. Sinwar can say “Who wants to guard this Jew until he (the Hamas member) finds it necessary to dispatch him in a manner he decides is fitting?” There is never a lack of arms raised by Hamas members assembled. No one writes about the mental cruelty and sickness of Palestinians but it is an ingredient in their Arab Muslim makeup. And that training begins in childhood in Gaza.

Some naïve Westerners who don’t know and understand about the bloody and deadly essence of Islam’s jihad , might be shocked and stop and wonder “Just how can those jihadists of Hamas be so totally unconscionably evil to commit murder against the hostages who six hostages they had kidnapped ?”
