Leading Iranian regime operatives played a key role organizing student anti-Israel protests, an investigation by FWI reveals.
In early July, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence alleged that “Iranian government actors have sought to opportunistically take advantage of ongoing protests regarding the war in Gaza. … We have observed actors tied to Iran’s government posing as activists online, seeking to encourage protests, and even providing financial support to protesters.”
The statement yielded considerable coverage in international media, although no explicit examples of such Iranian involvement were identified.
FWI has since found evidence of Iranian regime involvement with anti-Israel and pro-Hamas protests and encampments.
Rise Against Oppression, a Houston-based “collective of Muslim grassroots activists,” participated in the University of Houston anti-Israel encampment, backing the creation of student movement’s “Popular University” and working with Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), the chief organization behind the campus protest movement this year.
Rise Against Oppression may describe itself merely as a “collective,” but it is an unabashed representative of the regime in Tehran. In June, the group organized an “Imam Khomeini Conference” in Houston, where topics included “Imam Khomeini & the Palestinian Struggle” as well as “Imam Khomeini: A Role Model for the Western Youth.”
Other Rise events have included former SJP leaders such as Mohammad Nabulsi; Yemeni activists such as Yousef Mawry, who is aligned with the Houthi terrorist movement; and Muzzamil Zaidi, a Houston Islamist currently resident in the Iranian city of Qoms.
On May 1, just months after the Rise event, Zaidi pleaded guilty to transferring tens of thousands of dollars to Ayatollah Khamenei. According to the Department of Justice, Zaidi and his accomplice “collected payments” of khums, a religious tax, “as well as donations purportedly to help victims of the ongoing civil war in Yemen, from individuals in the United States,” before enlisting “friends, family members, and other associates to carry the cash out of the United States.”
Student protests in Texas and elsewhere have also enjoyed support from the Muslim Congress, a Texas Shia Islamist organization and another key Iranian regime voice in the United States. The Muslim Congress openly promotes the writings and ideas of Ayatollah Khamenei and other senior regime clerics. Its events in the United States are frequently covered in Iranian regime media…

A few strategic strikes that take out Khameni, and the head of the Quds, the Republican Guard and other such folks, would halt aggression by Iran and their proxies, and return normalcy to Israel and the rest of the Middle East. The Us may also want to take the opportunity to drop GBI-57’s abs GBU 72’s (as appropriate) on Iran’s nuclear facilities just to make sure that their capability to enrich uranium is set back decades.

Presiden Reagan sent the missile as a response to Libyan agents who bombed a discotheque in Berlin at which some U.S.soldiers were present (I don’t recall the exact casualty figures for that), and not for the downing of Pam Am flight 103, which was a couple of years later, in 1988 I believe.

Yes,at the University of Houston, much of those anti-Jewish and anti-Isreal “From the river to the sea ” rallies and such hate Israel activities are , in part ,a result of the stealth jihadists whe are also agents of that Islamic regime of Iran. At Houston University as well as at other universities and colleges, Those ventures of hate which are against both the Jews and the Jewish State of israel. Such hate events are also very much in essence.very un-American, For example ,at some similar rallies for “Palestine,” the American flag is burned along with the Israeli flag being burned. ,
As the former United States ,William Howard Taft , has so rightly .declared in a speech “Anti -Semitism is a noxious weed that should cut out. It has no place in America,.”
Furthermore, all those US citizens who take part in such horrific events are very Un-American , at heart , that they should leaves America go to one of those Islamic countries to live .
Which is a good idea for them to do . as the other former US President , Theodore Roosevelt, has very wisely said “There can be no fifty -fifty Americanism in this country , There is room here for only one hundred percent Americanism, only for those who are Americans and nothing else.”

The University of Houston as well as many other universities and colleges across the United States have been thoroughly influenced by the stealth jihadist who are funded of Iran and other oil rich Islamic countries to the extent some of its professors are propagandists for Islam and “Palestine”is most terrible.
Another thing is that many pf the high positions in those institutions of higher education may be even been taken “gifts” ,bribes, in different forms to allow and even encourage pro- Islamic , anti- Israel activities and events to occur in their universities and colleges.

Good point , I’m glad that you mentions those two other Islamic countries which are also guilty of that infernerance in American institutions of “higher. education.” Nevertheless the scope of this jihadwatch article is limited to the focus on Iran
