IDF Attempt to Persuade Gazans to Move Out of Harm’s Way is Proof of ‘Genocide’

A “respected” Palestinian human rights group has now accused Israel of telling Gazans to move away from areas about to be targeted by the IDF, which it says is further proof of Israeli “genocide.” More on this absurd charge can be found here: “‘Human rights group’ says Israel’s attempts to SAVE civilians is proof of its ‘genocidal nature,'” Elder of Ziyon, August 29, 2024:

The Palestinian Center of Human Rights is a respected organization by the human rights community.

It is also insanely antisemitic.

The headline of a news release this week says, “Latest Israeli Displacement Orders Further Prove Their Genocidal Nature.

The very things the IDF does to avoid civilian casualties in order to get to Hamas targets hidden in civilian areas are being viewed as evidence of genocide!

The press release says this statement that no sane person could write: “The establishment of these so-called ‘humanitarian safe zones’ reveals a genocidal pattern designed to forcibly displace Palestinians to areas lacking essential services necessary for their survival. “

No, these “humanitarian safe zones” are not part of a “genocidal pattern.” These zones have been created to minimize civilian casualties. They are the areas that the IDF has established so that Gazans can move away from areas that are about to be targeted. And they are fully supplied with “essential services” — medicine, field hospitals set up by Israel, water, electricity — which the PCHR simply denies.

If the IDF wanted them dead, why spend the time and effort and resources to ask them (not force them) to leave?

Why does the IDF, if its aims are truly genocidal, conduct the most elaborate efforts to warn people away from places where they may be killed? By March, the IDF had dropped nine million leaflets, sent sixteen million text messages, and made fifteen million robocalls, all to warn Gazans away from areas and buildings about to be targeted and to direct them to safe places where the IDF will not be attacking until further notice. How does that warning system lead to “genocide”?

That’s not even the only example in this very press release of interpreting Israeli actions to save Gazan lives as genocidal.

Israel has been working hard with UNICEF and WHO to bring polio vaccines into Gaza, a complex undertaking to do safely. Over 1.2 million doses have been imported. The entire operation is complicated by the fact that thse vaccines must be kept cool, so appropriate cooling equipment must also be brought in and there must be assurance that they will work during power outages. The entire operation so far has been accomplished in only a couple of weeks.

If Israel wanted to commit a “genocide” of the Gazans, why would it have made sure that 1.2 million doses of polio vaccine were sent into Gaza, along with the cooling equipment required for this vaccine? The IDF worked night and day to see that this operation was successful — an effort undertaken to save the lives of Gazans. Israel has also agreed to temporarily halt operations in certain areas of Gaza while the vaccine can be safely administered.

Israel has also appointed a brigadier general whose only job is to coordinate with international organizations for aid delivery and distribution into Gaza. I’m pretty sure that no army in history has ever done so much to ensure aid to the enemy’s side.

But here is how PCHR reports it:

The delay in the vaccination campaign due to Israel’s displacement orders highlights a trend of weaponizing previously eradicated, highly infectious diseases as a tool of genocide. This strategy deliberately uses such diseases to inflict permanent disability or death on Palestinian residents of Gaza.

It is Israel that made possible 1.2 million doses of polio vaccine, together with the necessary cooling equipment, to enter Gaza. The PCHR ignores that,and accuses the Israelis of doing the very opposite of what the IDF is doing — bringing in 1.2 million doses of the polio vaccine, with more still to come — and halting fighting in certain areas where the vaccine can be safely administered. Yet the PCHR claims that the IDF is deliberately spreading polio as “a tool of genocide.” Then why has the IDF made all these efforts both to bring in the vaccines in cooling equipment, and to create safe spaces to administer it?

This is simply a 21st  century update of the Black Death blood libel against Jews….

In 1348, Jews were accused of spreading the Black Death, and many, as a result of this preposterous charge, were murdered. Now the Jews of Israel are being accused of deliberately spreading polio among the Gazan Arabs, as “a tool of genocide.”

Jews are “genocidal.” That’s where the PCHR begins and ends. Therefore, if there is some evidence that the charge is not true — as, for example, with the 40,000 tons of humanitarian aid supplied to Gaza by Israel, the 1.2 million doses of polio vaccine that the IDF has delivered to Gaza, the nine field hospitals set up in Gaza by the IDF, the elaborate system of millions of leaflets, text messages, and robocalls that the IDF employs to warn Gazan civilians to move out of harm’s way, that evidence will not be mentioned. Or it will be deliberately misinterpreted to further the “genocide” narrative. To wit: the polio vaccine Israel brought in was ineffective, or still worse, did not protect against polio, but actually was meant to spread the disease; the field hospitals were not properly equipped and offered Gazans only substandard care; those “warnings” to get out of harm’s way in fact directed Gazans to areas that were not safer, but of even greater danger than those they currently inhabited. What can you expect, after all, of the diabolical and genocidal Jews?
