France: Bakery stops serving pork because Muslims threatened to burn the shop down

This is how Islamization is accomplished. Give it a few more decades, multiply this incident a few hundred times, and you won’t find pork products sold anywhere in France.

Following a dispute, a baker in Vénissieux announced that he would no longer produce pork products. Although Alexandre Dallery respects the fact that people do not eat pork, he criticised the event for being ‘too extreme’ in an interview with the newspaper ‘Le Parisien’.

He would have preferred it if the far-right had not adopted his publications. Following an altercation in his bakery in Vénissieux (Rhône), Alexandre Dallery announced on Friday that he would no longer be selling pork products. This decision was played up by the far right with Islamophobic undertones, with some of its representatives speaking of an “Islamised” territory, a “caliphate” or “Sharia law.”

What happened?
In fact, one of the saleswomen at Maison La Verr’in Dallery Pittie, Alexandre Dallery’s bakery, directed two customers to a bacon quiche, very early in the morning this Friday, according to the entrepreneur’s account given this Friday evening to Le Parisien. Several minutes later, the two men returned “like furies” and “very violently” to the establishment after discovering the presence of pork in their meal, which they had not been notified of, even though their religion forbids it.

Alexandre Dallery, also elected in the opposition to the municipal council of Vénissieux under the colors of the Republicans (LR), nevertheless declares “never to have had worries to this extent” with regard to Muslim people in his bakery. Established for sixteen years in the town, he also prides himself on hiring people of “all religions, from all backgrounds” in his team.

To avoid any other mistake, the owner of the bakery has therefore decided to continue his activity without “making ham.” While he says he understands that giving a quiche with bacon to Muslims “can annoy,” he nevertheless believes that “it has gone too far.” In a comment posted on Facebook, since deleted, Alexandre Dallery had mentioned this Friday “various pressures for several months to make halal.”

A controversy fueled by the far right
The main far-right figures present on the social network X have taken up the subject on their own account. Damien Rieu, Reconquête candidate in the European elections and recently sentenced to an eight-month suspended prison sentence for online harassment, denounced “sharia law.” Marion Maréchal, Reconquête’s leader in the European elections, and television columnist Jean Messiha, from the same party, respectively spoke on the social network of a “caliphate” and “massive Islamic harassment.”

Rassemblement National (RN) MP for the Rhône Tiffany Joncour published a press release on X to react to “community pressure exerted by Islamists” by stating that the bakery was going to close because of the event. A statement denied by the owner who, in his words, had already sold his business before the altercation this Friday.

“I would have preferred them not to take my post,” Alexandre Dallery told Le Parisien. “I don’t want to be associated with them and I don’t want it to get out of hand.” “He then clarifies that “those who know me know that I am not like that: I respect the fact of not eating pork and I have always respected it, I am not at all in this provocation.” This Friday evening, he closed the Facebook page of his bakery.

As soon as the message was posted on Facebook, this Friday, August 16 in the morning, the allegations were rife in the comments on the social network: “In Vénissieux, can we no longer sell pork?,” “Do we give in to pressure?”…

The two men of Muslim faith had settled down on the terrace, but ‘went into the shop, insulted us and threatened to set fire to the bakery. I was at the back baking bread, but I heard them. I immediately intervened and apologised, saying that a mistake could happen. If I hadn’t been there, they would probably have attacked my shop assistant’….

Alexandre Dallery, an opposition councillor (LR) in Vénissieux, has decided not to press charges, but wants to denounce ‘a taboo subject’ in the town. For good reason, as he will no longer be there in two months’ time.

Following an attempted burglary, a tax audit, an audit by the Urssaf and an administrative closure in February this year for ‘serious breaches of hygiene regulations’, the baker has sold his shop in Vénissi, which alone employed 15 people.

One of these employees will soon take over the management of the business. ‘The other employees will continue to work here or with us in our other shops,’ he said.

The incident on Friday August 16 ‘was the straw that broke the camel’s back’, summarises Alexandre Dallery.

    I don’t want Islam banned in the West. But what I do want is it exposed for what it is. If I am correct that freedom can tackle any non-freedom ideology—like Islam, Nazism, Marxism—if only the facts are presented about it, then a free society can tolerate a non-free ideology, like Islam. But it’s a big “if” and this “if” must often be accompanied by the courage to call out an inimical ideology for what it is.

    Islam comes to mind here. But not there yet, now are we?

        • The groups you list, while aware about islam, lost actual military wars against invading muslim armies (Romans & Zoroastrians probably lost to non-muslim Arabs first, and then in the 10th century, the rulers of Baghdad & Buqhara put together the religion). Difference here is that the enemies are already in the gates

    • I disagree w/ you: I do want islam banned in the West. Along w/ communism, nazism and other such geopolitical ideologies

      Or use the Kier Starmer model, but use it against islam & communism in the same way he uses it against the “far-right”. Or like Matt Walsh proposed, just like when Leftist icons are attacked, they look for other laws that the perps have violated, & go after them on those. Same thing should be done here: harass communists & mohammedans enough that they either leave on their own, or give up their beliefs out of fatigue

    • Tolerance cannot be asymmetric or those who are tolerant inevitably will be swallowed whole by those who prove constantly their profound intolerance. So, even the most tolerant should swallow their pride in their utmost virtue and suspend their tolerance for certain ideologies. Not by banning but by denying them special status (which is always demanded) by not allowing them free rein in any violence, harassment and intimidation. By not allowing them to ‘hold’ territory’ by not allowing ANY religious schools, by not allowing them Mosques galore which are above all statements of intent and territorial markers. Of course in Europe the exact opposite is happening. Strangely.

    • Islam should be banned because Islam teaches and commands evil things like killing non muslims, allowing pedophilia, enslavery and beating women.
      I do not know much about Marxism or Nazism, but as long as they only have certain ideas on how to manage a society or country without sanctioning evil, then those ideology are not to be banned.

  4. Europe’s banks used to encourage youngsters to save earnings and spare change in “piggy banks”. Now because they are offensive to mo slums, they can no longer be displayed or distributed by local banks.

    We have relatives and friends in Germany and Switzerland; the mo slums complained about church bells being too loud; the local town governments suggested the churches close protective shutters to decrease the volume which seemed to placate them, for a while.

    France can no longer display Christmas trees in public. The EU Constitution does not acknowledge their history nor GOD.

    The invasion of Western Europe began in the 1960s when war torn Europe needed & invited, “Guest workers” from Turkey who overstayed their work permits/visas and brought family members. They groomed, deceived, and took the daughters of locals who found the mo slums to be, “exotic”. That is how they literally got their foot in the door.

    The city gates of cities were originally built to protect citizens and keep out the mo slum invaders. The Crusades were defensive actions to protect the remnant Hebrews and defend holy sites sacred to Christians as well.

    Christophero Columb (“the Christ Proclaimer”) wanted to find a more direct overwater route to the Orient because the overland trade routes were being attacked by mo slums; he also had visions of spreading the gospel of the Christ to unknown people.

    Also, communism has never worked no matter where or when it was tried.

    My father made certain that I knew those details of history. My children do now as well.

    Too many young people did not learn history and that leftists and mo slums will never be appeased.

    • Well said! And some details I wasn’t aware of in the “Sharia creep.” Such as Piggy Banks. I still have one from my childhood.

      A number of years ago, I was visiting Toronto, Canada for a friend’s wedding. We ducked into a mid-east takeout for a quick snack. In my pita I found a dark curly hair. I went back to the counter, very grossed out, but was calm and informed the man working there what had happened and showed him. At the time I was very young and didn’t know much about Islam. He was clearly an immigrant from one of the trouble spots.

      He started shouting at me, that I had put it there to “ruin his business.” I said this is not my hair! I had long hair, and lighter. He had short curly black hair! And a beard. And no hairnet. He then started screeching at me for calling him a liar, and was getting so worked up into a violent tizzy I said “never mind” and threw it at him across the counter and we got out of there fast. I was shaken up, as this was over 20 years ago, and I didn’t know what was going on, or that Islam could have anything to do with his remarkable lack of customer-is-always-right.

      Now that I do know what was going on with that, I realize he could have actually attacked me. He was young, and no sapling, and had lots of knives there behind the counter!

      What really made me wake up to Islam was the ISIS events 10 years ago. I started to research Islam: who, what, where, why. Found Jihad Watch, and I recommend it to many of my friend–those who are willing to listen.

      • Some years ago, an account was noted here about a lady in the U.K. who had a row of ceramic pigs in the picture window of her home. mozlums got all hot about it and the poor lady was told to remove the ornaments.

        Everything they do is for intimidation and forcing their way upon everyone else.

        • Standing back and taking it all in, it is really quite unbelievable what they are able to get away with! No other group could be so petty and demanding. In spite of that, they still get their way.

          Outrage is the only appropriate response.

          Because they are so violent, women with piggies in the window fear for their lives, and their houses being, you guessed it, torched, if they don’t comply. The police and law cannot be depended on, and probably will not help.

          Still making my head spin, it has just exponentially gotten worse in the past year or so. Especially since October 7. That was a test point. Like the plandemic was a test, to see how much people would go along with. And how to deal with those who saw through it.

    And, the owner evidently being an idiot, says no more pork and blames infidels who know what islam is all about.

    • I can see insurance companies getting involved in this down the road, after restaurants, bakeries, etc. refuse to bend to the demands, and get burned down. “We can’t have every food business burn to the ground, the insurance will go through the roof” so more red tape, higher insurance rates, and wiping out the small businesses.

      Small business is hated by communists–too independent. So the State has to come down hard on food establishments etc. Note during the c-19 lockdowns, what businesses were allowed to keep the doors open all through that crazy time. Big box chain corporate stores.

      Kind of fits with the globalists Un Agenda 21 about cutting drastically down on farming, meat because animals cause *climate change* and use too much water. Sigh. Re-wilding of areas to get people into 15 min. cities where they are easier to control, and easier for Islam to conquer.

      I am convinced the leaders want Islam to over-run Western civilization to destroy it and wipe out many of the people to reduce population pressure, and make people easier to control. But then, what are they going to do with the Islamists? They won’t be easily put off once the globalists are finished with them, and want to relegate them to the sidelines, or even eliminate them. An endless supply of suicide-vested men can cut into the armed forces and police pretty fast.

  8. Wasn’t there also an incident some years ago at a pizzeria in France, in which several Muslims assaulted a couple of customers for eating a pork sausage pizza in front of them (not provocatively, just nearby in their prescence)?

    Anyone who knows a bit about French food knows that quiche often contains pork. Those Muslims should have asked about it. It’s like ordering a “croque-monsieur” or “jambon-buerre” sandwich and not knowing that those food contain pork.

    I suspect they feigned ignorance just so that they could start some bullshit and persecute the restaurant owner.
