In her July 25 opinion column in Le Journal de Montréal entitled: “Indecency has a name: Netanyahu,” columnist Yasmine Abdelfadel took issue with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent speech to the U.S. Congress, calling it “not only inappropriate, but also dangerous.”
She bemoaned his characterization of Israel’s war with Hamas as “the resistance of good against evil,” and complained that he did not speak “a word about the illegal colonization of the Palestinian territories.”
If fighting Hamas, a genocidal Islamic terrorist organization that rapes, tortures, murders and kidnaps Israeli civilians – and uses its own people as human shields – is not “evil,” then the word has lost all meaning. Yet Abdelfadel bristled at calling Hamas evil.
This is hardly surprising, given that Abdelfadel refused to even mention the word of Hamas even a single time anywhere in her column, as if Israel is fighting some invisible ghost in Gaza, and that there are not well over 100 Israeli hostages still being held by the demonic death cult that is Hamas.
As for her complaint that Netanyahu should have spoken about the “illegal colonization of the Palestinian territories,” Abdelfadel is engaging in fictional storytelling. Israel possesses extensive legal and historical rights to the lands it controls, and never before in history has there ever been a Palestinian state, and ergo, Israel cannot be occupying, let alone colonizing, its own land, nor from a country that has never existed….

Of course, a stinking religion that is full of hate for all non-Muslims and that tells Muslims to go and kill non-Muslims when the chance arises is evil and sick. Notice whenever we hear from Muslim women, journalists, politicians, activists, etc…they’re just as radical as the Muslim men?
However any (ex) Muslim woman that dares to criticize or speak truthfully about Islam, like Ayaan Hirsi Ali has to live in hiding because of all the death threats they get from Muslims?

They don’t even need to make a case, just throw some mud on their opponents and suddenly everyone is a bad guy.
I’ve seen when Muslims run out of good arguments, in debates, they resort to childish tu quoque fallacies…much like a bully might accuse the victim of hitting or insulting them and they were just defending themselves.
This sneaky form of argument can find some success with more lefty and weak-minded people and then makes them turn against the real victims (like Israel)…it’s a pretty dangerous but effective strategy. It goes back to educating the masses on the truth so they can’t fall for these shoddy verbal tricks.

This is slightly mixed up. The writer means “If HAMAS, a genocidal Islamic terrorist organization that rapes, tortures, murders and kidnaps Israeli civilians – and uses its own people as human shields – is not ‘evil’, then the word has lost all meaning.” He has inadvertently made it sound as if FIGHTING Hamas is the evil.
If this can be fixed I would recommend it.

When your behavior is no different than the acts of many serial killers evil describes it. You can watch TV shows that chronicle the acts of of infamous evil serial killers but I dont think we have enough video tape to chronicle the evil acts of mohammedans. Someone should tell this complaining woman that it is not just hamas.
