Where’s Joe? What’s Going On? Is Any of This Really Happening?

Old Joe Biden dropped out of the race on Sunday afternoon. Everyone saw his post on X. In a follow-up message on X, Biden endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for the presidential nomination, and Democrat leaders began lining up (with the notable exception of Barack Obama) to endorse her. The controversy over Biden’s dementia and ability to perform the duties of president appears to be over, although the nagging and quite large issue remains of whether he is able to perform the duties of president for the next seven months. And yet almost immediately, questions about the way Biden withdrew began to swirl, including the basic one: did he really withdraw at all?

The rumors began with the form of Biden’s withdrawal from the race. On Sunday at 1:46 p.m. EDT, the Joe Biden X account published an image of a letter in which Old Joe states that “it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term.” It was a splendid 21st-century moment that Biden announced his own political demise on a social media platform, but it also raised questions, chief of which was: “Where’s Joe?”

There are rough precedents for what Biden did on Sunday afternoon. When President Lyndon Johnson saw the writing on the wall and decided not to seek reelection in 1968, he did so in a nationally televised address. When President Richard Nixon resigned the office in 1974, he also did so on camera. But the public has not seen Old Joe since he was announced as having come down with COVID last Wednesday and retired to his taxpayer-funded walled Delaware beach house.

Shouldn’t Biden have made such a momentous announcement before the cameras? If he is too ill to do so, couldn’t we at the very least have some still photos that make it clear that this is a decision he has actually made? After all, he was insisting right up until quite recently that he was planning to stay in the race and win. There is an uneasy banana-republic feel to this whole thing. A president whose own base has turned against him comes down with a disease that many have noted has all the strength of the common cold at this point. Nevertheless, he treats it as if he had gotten the bubonic plague and immediately goes out of sight. Several days later comes the announcement, ostensibly under his name, that he is bowing out.

    Other world “leaders” have suddenly disappeared, while supposedly communicating via their staff.
    There was a report on one site claiming that he will stay in office long enough to meet with Mr. Netanyahu. What about after that?
    Is biden comatose? Is he still alive enough to engage in an angry shout or whisper?

  2. Honestly, I’m surprised that he lost this game of chicken. Were it me, I’d have told them to do their worst, not donate a dime, and wouldn’t have campaigned. Just governed, or whatever passes for governance these days from him. Then lose the election, & then just issue all the pardons to Hunter & anyone else who needed them

    It’s hilarious that the party that swears by “democracy” is the one sabotaging the results of their primaries, after first sabotaging anyone who wanted to run against the guy they now wanna remove. During the Cold War, the adjective “Democratic” or “People’s” was a code word to indicate that the entity was communist, and now, that seems to be the case w/ the Democrat party

    W/ all the third, fourth & fifth party candidates like RFK Jr, Jill Stein and Cornel West, I wonder if Trump could pull off a 50 state victory?

    BUT also it’s necessary to have someone at the helm.

    • If he is this sick ,and he is not running for a second term ,and it is obvious we the American people have been lied to for at least a year or longer on his mental and physical health it is time to put the 25 amendment into action. They(the people in charge!) said he will make a statement at the end of the week??

I think that the statement from Sleepy Ole Joe apprises the American citizenry his true priorities, “Old Joe states that “it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term.” Being the president, one, at least I, would have thought that he would have put the nation which he professes to serve over the political party and its money. Had any Republican president said anything similar, all Hell would have risen from Dante’s “Inferno.”

    I am truly gratified that Joe has left the campaign and the laughing hyena from California appears to be the Communist vying for the chance to further damage the nation.

    He has requested info from the different agencies, but they have not cooperated. Such a surprise.

    • Thanks. It really seems that Biden, Mayorkas, and Cheatle should be charged with first degree murder. There is no other explanation. Sure they are incompetent, but it also looks like they were complicit. If there was an investigation, it would probably show that the FBI profiled Crooks and set him up. If that were the case, Wray would be the mastermind of the assassination.

  9. I watched a video of Tucker Carlson speculating that Joe is actually dead, and they just have his Twitter intern tweeting all those things. Nobody has seen him, there have been no appearances nor anything. His brother Frank’s statement about letting him live out his remaining time in the world suggests that he’s already dead

    I think the powers that be want to avoid making Kamala look any more of an incumbent than she already is. If she were President Harris and being challenged by Trump, she’d be even more unpopular than she already is

  10. Maybe weak old Joe would show how emotionally traumatized he was while speaking on television about not running for a second term in Office. Since he was informed that he’s not wanted ,even in his own party

    It may be likely that Democrats don’t want the world to see a cry baby Biden or an angry fuming Biden.

  12. Cheat-All also refused to answer questions re how long the counter-sniper had Crooks in his sights before he fired? And how many spent cartridge cases were found on the roof?

    Her failure to visit the site – immediately interrogate all involved etc – makes you wonder whether she was ever really in charge of the US Secret Service in the first place, or whether she was just a stooge like Biden.

    (Personally, I was very disappointed that Cheatle couldn’t even confirm whether Crooks’ last words were really: “Donald – duck!”)
