Francesca Albanese is the UN’s Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories. She has denied the rapes of Israeli women and girls committed by Hamas on October 7; she has accused the IDF of committing “genocide” in Gaza. But now, in addition to being a venomous antisemite, Albanese has shown herself to be a grifter, trying to charge speaking fees for work that was part of her UN duties. She requested payment from someone who turned out to be an investigator affiliated with UN Watch. United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories Francesca Albanese is under scrutiny by the UN Office of Internal Oversight Services over alleged payments for speaking events and honorarium for a fake lecture set up by an Internet prankster, UN Watch executive director Hillel Neuer said on Tuesday.
Neuer announced on social media that an OIOS case file had been opened on alleged impropriety by Albanese, and the UN Watch’s report on the issue, which had triggered the review, had been shared with the UN Human Rights Office of the High Commissioner.
“We are filing papers today to terminate her mandate,” Neuer said on X.
In an April correspondence provided to The Jerusalem Post by the anti-Zionist parody persona known as Rabbi Linda Goldstein, Albanese’s research assistant discussed a sum for her research institute in exchange for a keynote address to a fake Columbia University protest encampment webinar on the “morality of intifada.”
The self-proclaimed “Chief Rabbi of Gaza” proposed an honorarium, to which Albanese’s assistant noted that while “she cannot take honorarium for anything she does in her official capacity,” Albanese “kindly asks for this honorarium to be transferred to the fellowship of her volunteer which supports her mandate and work.”
“Could you please provide some detail on the sum of the honorarium?” said the assistant. “The research institute will then send you the invoice for payment.”
The prankster asked “Is it ok if it’s donated to UNRWA in her honor instead? Since I was displaced from Gaza as Chief Rabbi after October 7 it’s near and dear to us.”
Another assistant told the Daily Wire in May that Albanese had never agreed to the fake rabbi’s request, and that it was she and not Albanese who had requested the sum be transferred to her fellowship at Erasmus University Rotterdam….
How plausible is that? Since when would an assistant, on her own, decide where the honorarium for Albanese was to be sent? Albanese clearly wants to pretend that she had nothing to do with it; we are expected to believe that this conniving grifter knew nothing about that honorarium that was offered.
Albanese also received $22,500 for a trip to Australia sponsored by Palestinian groups. She did not disclose to the UN the receipt of any of that money, as required to by UN rules.
Albanese is now claiming that her trip to Australia had been paid for by the UN “as part of my mandate’s activities.” This is false. The Australian Friends of Palestine Association said on its website that it had “sponsored” Albanese’s visit to Adelaide, and Australia Palestine Advocacy Network (APAN), Free Palestine Melbourne, and Palestinian Christians in Australia had “supported” her visit to Victoria, New South Wales, and the Australian Capital Territory. APAN also said on its website that it supported the visit. The words “sponsored” and “supported” make clear that she was being paid, illegally, by those who wanted to express their “appreciation” for her pro-Hamas and anti-Israel stance with cash on the barrel.

AFOPA said on X that Albanese had been authorized by the UN to accept its invitation and that the UN funded her travel and accommodation costs. The group said the allegations were a “malicious effort to discredit Ms. Albanese and AFOPA.”
“No Palestinian solidarity group paid for this trip,” said AFOPA….
No? Then why did those claim to have “sponsored” her trip to Adelaide and “supported” her trip to Victoria and New South Wales?
If Albanese is fired, it will not be because of her antisemitism, as exhibited in her total want of sympathy for the Israeli victims of Hamas’ atrocities. No, it will be because she’s a grifter, accepting — demanding — money for speaking engagements that she was not supposed to accept for payment, payments about which she never informed the UN. Fortunately, UN Watch and its director, the indefatigable Hillel Neuer, have been tracking her movements and appearances, and most importantly, the money she has been demanding and receiving.
Not only was her richly rewarded trip to Australia a violation of UN rules, but there was the “prankster” who pretended to be an “anti-Zionist rabbi,” one Linda Goldstein, who had discussions with Albanese’s assistant about paying for giving an online talk to the anti-Israel protesters in an encampment at Columbia University — both how much money she might require for giving such a talk, and whether it should be paid to her directly or to her personal fellowship at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
Not her antisemitism — no one in the UN’s bureaucracy seems to have a problem with that — but her greed, and consequent financial misconduct, may finally bring this grifter down. Should that happen, there won’t be a wet eye in my house. How about in yours?

Maybe some clever people in the Shin Bet or similar, could do some in-depth investigation of this creature’s career, starting with wherever it was she went to university and who she hung out with. Who were her professors? lecturers? tutors? There are others, too, like the evil slimy Josep Borrell… WHERE do they come from? Who taught them? Where and when did they first imbibe their virulent hatred of Jews, and of Israel? And who helped them to get to their present positions of influence?

I looked her up on wikipedia, just to get a bit of an idea of her background.
Born in 1977, so she’s 47 years old.
Her first degree was at the University of Pisa. What she studied there, should be on the record for somebody to examine.
She then did a further degree with the “SOAS”(School of Oriental and Arab Studies?) at the University of London… one wonders who was teaching there, at that time. – if she was in her 20s, that would have been in the 1990s.
She is associated with Georgetown University… a location Hugh has identified as heavily Arab/Muslim influenced.
She is also associated with something called the “Arab Renaissance for Democracy and Development”.. might be worth someone’s while finding out who, precisely, established that particular entity, and what it does, and who its other operatives are.
