In early June, French President Macron’s party suffered an unexpected defeat in the elections to the European Parliament; the big winner was the rightist, anti-Muslim immigrant part, the National Rally, headed by Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella. Fearing paralysis in the French Parliament, in a daring act Macron called for a snap election for members of the French Parliament, to be held in two parts, on June 30 and July 7. Three major political blocs are competing: The rightist National Rally, Macron’s own centrist alliance, and the New Popular Front coalition that includes the center-left, the Greens and the hard-left party, La France Insoumise, headed by Jean-Luc Mélenchon. After the National Rally came out on top in the first round Sunday, the rioting began.

In an article published two days before the voting, the analyst Michel Gurfinkiel discusses the possibility that France may be headed toward civil war, with the hard-left making common cause with Muslims against the rest of the French population: “Is France Heading for a Civil War?,” by Michel Gurfinkiel, New York Sun,
Is France heading to a civil war? Yes — if one is to believe the far-left activists, who keep saying that “they will not allow the far right to rule,” even if they win the coming general election democratically….
Mélenchon could see members of the smaller parties in his coalition who are not happy with his hard-left views split off and join an enlarged center-right coalition headed by Macron that would try to prevent the National Rally from taking power.
If the rightist National Rally wins an absolute majority of 289 seats in the National Assembly, Jordan Bardella should be appointed by President Macron to be Prime Minister. However, if Macron does appoint him, the far-left militants of La France Insoumise would likely come out on the streets, taking the occasion to violently attack their political opponents, and engaging in wholesale rioting, and looting, in which activities they would be joined by Muslims, always eager to have any excuse to commit mayhem. Macron might instead try to create an apolitical cabinet of technocrats rather than politicians; he would appoint as prime minister someone from the center-left to assuage Jean-Luc Mélenchon.
The far-left has been threatening violence should the National Rally prevail in the parliamentary elections, which is why shops and restaurants have set up barricades against possible attack. The forces of order — the police and gendarmes — are being asked by mayors to come out in force, to protect the law-abiding public from the hard-left rioters egged on by Mélenchon and his Muslim allies.
Like other countries in Western Europe, France has seen a colossal rise in its Muslim population in recent decades. These Muslims, most of them from North Africa, come to the Hexagon as economic migrants, intending to batten on all the benefits that the French state provides, including free or greatly subsidized public housing, free medical care, free education, unemployment benefits even without having been previously employed in France, family allowances, and more. They keep arriving — both legally and illegally — in France; the state seems powerless to round up the illegal immigrants and to send them back to their countries of origin. It has also been unable so far — but with the National Rally electoral victory that should change – to lower the numbers of Muslims allowed in legally.
The second reason for the worrisome rise in the Muslim population in France is this: Muslim women in France have fertility rates of 3.4, much higher than the fertility rate of the indigenous French, of 1.4. The third reason that Gurfinkiel gives for the rise in the Muslim population in France — conversions to Islam — account for fewer than 10,000 annually and is insignificant compared to his first two reasons.
Previously Muslims in France were less involved in politics, not seeing much of a difference among the “infidel” parties. But now there is a clear-cut choice for them, with the hard-left party, Mélenchon’s La France Insoumise coming out foursquare for the Palestinians, supporting Hamas, and denouncing Israel in every possible forum, while the National Rally has made cutting down on Muslim immigration central to its platform and has expressed support for Israel. That has drawn Muslims to vote in greater numbers, and more of them are registering to vote for La France Insoumise, and its anti-Israel head, Jean-Luc Mélenchon.
If the National Rally Party wins an absolute majority in the French Parliament, President Macron will nonetheless attempt to avoid appointing Bardella as Prime Minister. He will appoint a cabinet of technocrats, and as prime minister someone from the center-left of his coalition, so as to win over some of the factions in Mélenchon’s coalition who have been put off by his views and alliance with his coalition. But this concession may not be enough for the hard-left, whose members may still swarm into the streets, damaging and looting shops and restaurants, and attacking the police, too, as representatives of the Infidel government.
It would be better if Macron were to allow Bardella to become Prime Minister, and to let the National Rally prevail, as the voters want, for only thus will the French manage to halt both the immigration and sky-high procreation by Muslims that is, to the great anxiety of the indigenous people of France, relentlessly turning their country into part of Dar al-Islam. By 2050, if nothing is done about the mass immigration to France from the Maghreb and about the high fertility rates of Muslims in France, the country will have a Muslim majority. What would that mean for the civilization of the West?

Note of Concern to everyone reading this forum: the period July 7-17 will coincide with the first 10 days of the Islamic month of Muharram, the period of Shi’ite ritual mourning for the killing of their third Imam. Iran often calibrates its sponsored terror operations to coincide with certain religious anniversaries. Combine this with the pending Olympics, the recent Pentagon terror alert and Biden’s perceived weakness and it seems that a world of hurt awaits us this July.

I think civil war in France is the answer to the Leftist and Muslim problem. These parasites suck the life blood from the French economy stemming from their sense of entitlement and little contribution to the society at large. Muslims don’t embrace the French culture and want to impose the Sharia and their medieval values on it.

The civil war is inevitable since the dopes who have run France have allowed the Muslim percentage of the country’s population to reach 9%. It is just a matter of when it breaks out.
