The Left gets what it wanted.

The left has finally gotten what it has longed for since Donald Trump announced his first candidacy for president in 2015: a bloodied Trump being led off a stage. But they didn’t get what they want most of all, for he is still alive.

Early Saturday evening, Donald Trump was speaking at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania when shots rang out. Trump turned, grabbed his ear, and then ducked behind the podium as Secret Service agents rushed to surround him. Moments later, he stood up and was being ushered quickly off the stage when he stopped the agents, saying: “Wait!” Then, his face bloodied, he raised his fist in defiance and said to the crowd, “Fight!”

Sound advice, succinctly stated. It is clear that if we don’t fight now, the forces of evil that so desperately want to destroy Trump will destroy us as well, as he has long warned, and the nation will be enveloped in authoritarian darkness.

Unless he was wounded more seriously than he initially appeared to be, Trump should be able to continue his campaign without serious difficulty. But nothing else should go on as usual. Amid all the tumult and confusion occasioned by this shooting, there is one certainty: this will lead to no introspection among the political and media elites. There will be no consideration whatsoever of how leftist rhetoric and media propaganda contributed to a climate of hatred that led to this happening. Yet this time, they must not be allowed to blame this shooting on Trump himself, or January 6, or climate change, or whatever new idiocy they may devise.

The New York Post is saying that law enforcement authorities have identified the shooter as a 20-year-old registered Republican, Thomas Matthew Crooks. If this is accurate, it will be the only detail the establishment media ever tells us about Crooks. But it may be a psy-op. Investigative journalist Paul Sperry noted some information that could be more illuminating of Crooks’ mindset: “NEW: FEC database shows a Thomas Crooks of 2506 Milford Dr., Pittsburgh, Pa., gave $15 to the Dem fundraising platform ACTBLUE on Jan. 20, 2021. The donation was earmarked for Progressive Turnout Project, which endorsed Biden and claims ‘Donald Trump is a threat to our democracy.’” Where could anyone have gotten that idea?

Even worse, an eyewitness stated that he pointed the shooter out to Secret Service several minutes before the shots rang out and was ignored. That’s either gross negligence or collusion, but we may never know which. Beyond that, there is no doubt: this shooting was the direct and unmistakable result of the left’s nine-year-long determination to destroy Trump. The left has been working to destroy Trump since he announced his candidacy in 2015. The left hamstrung his presidency with false charges of Russian collusion that wasted tens of millions, if not hundreds of millions, of taxpayer money. They impeached him twice on false charges.

They even sent agents provocateurs into the crowd at the Capitol on January 6, 2021 in order to frame him for a nonexistent “insurrection.” They have made misdemeanors into felonies and multiplied one offense into 34 by charging him for each of its constituent elements in order to saddle him with bogus felony convictions so that they could howl that he was a “convicted felon.” They lied to the world that he was a rapist over the unsupported claims of a woman who couldn’t even remember what year the traumatic event supposedly took place.

Old Joe Biden has long been one of the chief offenders. He has repeated lied about Trump’s statements and positions, even in the recent debate. On September 1, 2022, Old Joe Biden notoriously warned that “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.” Never before had an American president ruled his principal opponent, and the supporters of that opponent, outside the bounds of acceptable political discourse. Never before had a president politicized and weaponized the Justice Department to go after his opponent.

Yet Biden, the destroyer of the republic, and his fellow Democrats have repeatedly warned that Trump will destroy “our democracy,” hoping Americans will forget that Trump was president before and left the White House voluntarily on January 20, 2021. Less than two weeks ago, Biden’s campaign team claimed yet again that Trump was on January 6, 2021 “encouraging a violent mob to attack the Capitol.” This despite the fact that Trump told protestors to proceed “peacefully and patriotically.”

And on and on and on. The New Republic’s June 2024 cover features a Photoshop blend of Trump and Hitler. And all along, leftists dreamed of doing more. Just days ago, New York Times columnist John McWhorter said: “I wish somebody would kill Donald Trump.” He was just the latest in a long line. Remember Kathy Griffin holding a mockup of Trump’s severed head. Remember Madonna saying: “I’ve thought a lot about blowing up the White House.” Remember Johnny Depp asking: “When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?”

In March 2024, longtime Democrat strategist James Carville said to Anderson Cooper: “I mean, to be candid, Anderson, President Biden is not the best attack politician I’ve ever seen in my life, and I’ll leave it at that. But there are a lot of people to do what I call ‘the wet work.'” That’s a common euphemism for assassination, and so Cooper responded: “Sounds like a mob hit.” Carville conceded the point: “Well, it’s kind of, but it’s paid TV and stuff like that. But yes, that’s a CIA term. Take a guy out.”

That was just the latest example of the left’s legitimization of political violence, and most notably of the Marxist group Antifa. Antifa is a violent, insurrectionist organization, not simply an “idea,” as Biden and others have claimed. Its premise is that government can’t be trusted to protect us from Trump’s fascists and trains its members in weapons and military strategies. This is an organization that the Democratic Party protects. During the George Floyd riots of 2020, the political and media elites coddled and even applauded the rioters. On Saturday evening, the world saw what kind of climate this created.

When the assassination attempt took place, Donald Trump was leading in the polls and — Democrat cheating aside — looked as if he had a good chance to return to the White House on January 20, 2025. Totalitarians that they are, leftists knew they had one more option. On Saturday, the world saw what it was.

And so now it should be abundantly clear that for all the media and Biden regime talk of “right-wing extremists,” the real threat of violence comes from the left, and always has. In a sane political system, Joe Biden and many others would be charged with inciting people to murder Trump. Though they will face no consequences, they still bear the responsibility. America must do everything legally possible to remove the cancer of the left from the body politic, or the parasite will most assuredly kill the host.

    • The police of the UK are currently too busy arresting Israelis and Iranians who point out that Hamas are terrorists or who wave an Israeli flag near a Hamas rally.

          It is bigotry to name a Muslim as a felon. They do not want to hurt their feelings, but it is allowed to mentally destroy these young women with physical violence.

    Now do you believe there is a conspiracy to force the USA into the NWO? Biden wants that; Trump does not. And neither do the American people.

    No, the Dems just have to hate the fact that he is alive, for so many reasons:

    ➤ Any GOP voters still on the fence would now be most enthused to go out & vote for Trump. Even while the Dem side is in total chaos on whether it should be Biden or someone else
    ➤ What Trump had to (uncharacteristically) do was maintain a low profile while the Dems were shooting at each other. Now, he doesn’t have to try doing anything before the convention. He can even announce his VP pick during his acceptance speech
    ➤ The same chaos that is now in the Democrat party would have been in the GOP, w/ multiple claimants to the Trump legacy
    ➤ Trump is still alive

    Once Trump gets elected, Antifa (as well as BLM, Hamas, CAIR, et al) should be declared terrorist organizations and all their assets impounded

    • The thing here is that had they succeeded, they’d have thrown the GOP camp into the same sort of chaos that the Dem camp is currently in. However, missing the mark, as they did, resulted in more attention being paid to his Secret Service coverage, a greater spotlight on all the Dem & MSM voices of hate, and the GOP not only being more united than ever, but also more alert to any more assassination attempts

      It’s much like the self inflicted wounds the Dems have been inflicting the past 2 years – from all the lawfare activity against him, Biden challenging him to a debate and thereby plunging his own campaign into chaos, and now, a Dem trying to assassinate Trump, missing & turning on everybody’s sympathy for him

      At this point, I can see Trump winning all 50 states

      • They knew what they were doing. They know their supporters and what they are capable of ding. The shooter failed but they succeeded. The Secret Service top girl is a white female democrat, didn’t earn it appointee, who denied boosting Trumps security. DEI white female democrat is a red flag to any thinking person.

  13. Willfull blindness from security Inc trained snipers with high powered scopes scanning all possible shooters locations. This will garner more support for President Trump, if he wins the election cities all over America will descend into civil war. Our only hope is faith in Jesus Christ.

      One account says that the sniper had to tell HQ what he’d seen, and request permission to shoot! Not much point in having security who aren’t allowed to act on their own initiative.

      The failure by the officer who climbed the ladder, to open fire on Crooks, is incompetence on a similar level to that of the school security officer in Broward County who drove around aimlessly on his little electric buggy “securing the perimeter” rather than doing his actual job of going into the school to tackle the gunman shooting school-children dead – or the same failure on the part of the 30 or so police officers in Uvalde, who skulked around uselessly while a gunman went from room to room murdering children.

      Understandable to duck below the parapet if confronted with a rifle from a few yards away, but that was no reason not to put his hand-gun over the parapet and fire blind: That would have distracted Crooks and prevented him from taking aim at DJT.

      Or simply firing his gun into the air to attract the attention of the security staff around Trump would have done the trick.

      How did all those supposedly eagle-eyed agents around Trump fail to spot a rifleman dressed in green on the white roof of a building a few hundred feet away?

  15. It could’ve been a Lefty but I’m going to go with a Palestine/Hamas supporter or Iranian operative, or any misc lowlife from the religion of pieces.

    The fact that they didn’t tell us the name or say his affiliation with the Dem party leads me to suspect it’s very likely an Islamofascist freak, the sort of person the Lefty media is in love with.

    Glad he was taken out, should happen in every terrorist attack…also glad Mr Trump is ok. I don’t know what the shooter was thinking because it was clearly a low caliber bullet…maybe he couldn’t acquire something more powerful.

    So this is crazy, maybe significant-are Dems looking for civil war? Bad idea…maybe if Trump wins the election and this could gain him some sympathy, he could be a real threat to our enemies…which is good for our side. That defiant fist in the air was the best. 🙂

        At least the rat was taken out…if it was the UK they’d probably give him a medal and name streets after him.

        I still think this is going to play in Trump’s favor, not that Biden had any chance of winning without cheating.

        The Secret Service did a poor job of not making sure the nearby roofs were clear and apparently they saw him, why not take him out before he shot?

        At least Trump just got grazed, but given that one of the spectators died, it could’ve been him instead…it was just very lucky he didn’t die.

        I think they might need those bullet-proof panels for him from now own. We can’t assume he’s a likable guy and nobody would actually try to take him out.

        It’s the same with Geert Wilders in the Netherlands…they’ve stopped some assassination attempts (not with guns) because he openly calls Islam an evil ideology and wants to get rid of it.

        As the Muslim population grows, so will these problems…even though it was a non-Muslim this time, I think Muslims have raised the bar to make violence more normalized.

          Not quite the same: As Mr Spencer had detailed on several occasions – the FBI were complicit in the attempt to murder Geert Wilders, Pam Geller and himself in Garland, Texas.

          (Funny how a place now synonymous with US agencies being complicit with those intent upon the destruction of America, should be called “Garland”: I don’t suppose there’s a border town called “Myorkas” is there…?)

        I may be wrong, but the shots sounded like a smaller caliber than a 5.56.

  18. Tried to kill him and they could have blamed the failure on any number of things. However, in that scenario, the worst outcome for them is him surviving. The political hell storm in DC and on the national level that will come in the wake of this is going to be epic. It certainly shakes up the nation and the world. Perhaps that is what we needed.

  21. The death of the spectator and injuries aside, I would say, no, Robert, we got what we wanted. An image of a hero that will burn into the American consciousness. That photo will become as iconic as the one of US marines raising the flag on Iwo Jima. The difference is, that was a fake, this is real.

    Many of us knew they would try and kill him. Now they’ve had their shot and it’s backfired. Apart, again, from the fact that people were killed and injured, this is the best outcome we could hope for.

    Long live Donald Trump, America’s President!

        It immediately reminded me of the iconic photograph of American troops raising the US flag over Iwo Jima: I down-loaded both images and circulated them to friends and family.

  22. With the sniper being killed, we will never know for sure who is responsible….but I’d start with the ones who have a track record of killing presidents…the CIA.

I don’t understand how the people assigned to protecting him and the people at these rallies could have allowed that roof top to not be secured, Anyone who hunts or target shoots will tell you that at 130 yards President Trump would have been an easy target for a rifle shooter. Somebody screwed up big time or was in on it.

    • OLD GUY, in the mid-1980s I went to a Jessie Jackson rally in San Francisco’s Mission District, where I lived at the time. I got there early, but had had no idea how popular it would be–even though it had been raining. I’m short, and I wasn’t able to see anything.

      I wandered around the crowd for a while, then saw a truck with an open bed that would give a great view of the back of the stage. I scrambled up on the truck and leaned against the back of the truck cab.

      After a few minutes I became very uneasy, although I wasn’t sure why. Then I realized that there I was, wearing a long raincoat and partially concealed by the truck cab, and with what would have been a clear shot of the stage.

      Even though this was my only chance of seeing anything, I got down right away. I wondered why security hadn’t realized that this truck parked there was a very bad idea.

      Thankfully nothing happened, but I was disturbed that this had been missed. (I have my differences with Jackson, goodness knows, but that of course makes no difference).

  28. I see nobody here saw what I saw, and that is, why was Trump body turned, so that his ear was turned toward the crowd, and then his ear was shot?
    Also, I don’t get it. If someone was going to try to try to make THAT important a shot as this, you wouldn’t miss. Or you’d have to be retarded to. What? The shooter didn’t know that he would be shot and killed by Secret Service, if he missed?
    So if someone told a shooter to do it, they would say “Just nick him, don’t kill him, we just want to scare him”?
