In the Qur’an, a mysterious figure, known as Khidr in Islamic tradition, kills a boy in an apparently random and gratuitous attack. He then explains: “And as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared that he would overburden them by transgression and disbelief. So we intended that their Lord should substitute for them one better than him in purity and nearer to mercy.” (18:80-81)
And according to Islamic law, “retaliation is obligatory against anyone who kills a human being purely intentionally and without right.” However, “not subject to retaliation” is “a father or mother (or their fathers or mothers) for killing their offspring, or offspring’s offspring.” (Reliance of the Traveller o1.1-2).
Muslims commit 91 percent of honor killings worldwide. The Palestinian Authority gives pardons or suspended sentences for honor murders. Iraqi women have asked for tougher sentences for Islamic honor murderers, who get off lightly now. Syria in 2009 scrapped a law limiting the length of sentences for honor killings, but “the new law says a man can still benefit from extenuating circumstances in crimes of passion or honour ‘provided he serves a prison term of no less than two years in the case of killing.’” And in 2003 the Jordanian Parliament voted down on Islamic grounds a provision designed to stiffen penalties for honor killings. Al-Jazeera reported that “Islamists and conservatives said the laws violated religious traditions and would destroy families and values.”

The suspect identified as Irfan struck the victim, Tanzila, with an axe while she was sleeping and killing her. The incident took place in theBhatta Number 2 area.
After the incident, the suspect remained at the scene next to the body….

In addition, the author, Brigitte Gabriel in her book which is entitled THEY MUST BE STOPPED on pages 171,172 , that “The shocking reality is that most Muslim men ,including those educated in the West ,have no objection to the degradation of women in their countries .Across the Muslim world, even in moderate Islamic countries, women’s’ rights are almost nonexistent…Women is Islam are considered unclean ,deemed inferior even to dirt.” In this just cited book it explains on page 176 that “Honor killings have also come to the West thanks to the rise of Islamic immigration. “

First, the terrible term “honor killing” is alone a dishonest term. For there is no honor, at all, in a malice -filled murder of a young female. Just giving an evil action a better sounding title doesn’t change the wicked nature of it. It’s like scrapping off the label of that jar of cyanide which reads “Danger Poison” and replacing on that jar another label that reads “ Apple Juice.” That doesn’t change the deadly content in that jar. As it has been wisely said that “Evil is always looking for an excuse.”
Second, the horrible reality is that Islam is able to in a sinister way, warp the cognation of the human mind that a man might even feel and think that a cold-blooded murder of a helpless young girl or woman is something that is “good” That’s outright demonic. So much so that it’s a reflection of the words found in the Bible in Isaiah 5:20. Which read “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who put darkness for light and light for darkness…” [N.K.J.V.]
Third. , the Muslim father who vicious murder their daughter as well as Muslim brothers who maliciously murder their sister in a so called ‘honor killing” and feels no remorse or guilt about the horrendously evil actions that they committed are so very heartless because ,as the Bible reveals they have had “their own conscience seared with a hot iron” First Timothy 4:2.
In that situation, that hot iron” is Islam.
Forth , but not less important than the other three points is to have the knowledge that this brutal, callous cruel, malice-filled and murderous Islamic tradition that so very inappropriately called “honor killing” by many Muslims in one of the many malicious and vicious deadly fruits of Islam.

At least in this country, and maybe others of Western beliefs and behaviours, anyone engaging in supposed ” honour killings ” are prosecuted and jailed. I don’t understand how committing murder can be better than a person getting out of what must be an unbearable situation. I appreciate the Islamic religion allows a man to ” beat “his partner , or other females , so why is that tolerated, in fact, justified. Seems a very one-sided ruling to me and not one to be authorised and advocated. Why is it ?

I continue to wonder in these cases just what the murderer is covering up by slaughtering and claiming it’s a matter of honor. There are so few things forbidden to muslim men, that there are few things they need to hide. Did she witness him with his adult male lover and then claim she brought dishonor in order to silence her? This always seems the most likely option to me.

All he has to do is accuse her of blasphemy, when the police turn out to arrest him. Since she is dead, she can’t refute him, and what’s more, he can get a mob behind him by claiming that he killed her for islam (which he did, albeit in a different way)
