America isn’t new to foreign funding and manipulation. The latest shouldn’t come as a surprise: pro-Hamas protests are being funded from Iran. “Iran is targeting Americans amid Gaza war protests, US intelligence chief warns,” by Daniella Jiménez, USA Today, July 9, 2024:
WASHINGTON – Agents of the Iranian government have worked to influence American protests against the war in Gaza, a top U.S. intelligence official said Tuesday, in one of the most stark warnings yet about foreign meddling amid demonstrations that rocked the nation this spring.
The director of National Intelligence, Avril Haines, said people working for Iran have “opportunistically” inserted themselves in the protest movement via social media and other cyber activities, posing as activists online and promoting and even funding public demonstrations.
American protests against Israel’s necessary war on Gaza not only destabilize America; they also sends a message to America’s enemies at a time when world war looms, and America has a weak president and wide open borders.
Avril Haines added that she knows “Americans who participate in protests are, in good faith, expressing their views on the conflict in Gaza.” But however well intentioned they might be, they are propping up Hamas, Iran, Hizballah and other terrorist entities. They are also sending the message far and wide how unstable America is. It is peculiar how leftists often hail the concept of a “global community,”, globalism, open borders and the like, yet they know so little about the threats to their own well-being from determined regimes which are adept at manipulation and propaganda — notably Communism and Islamic supremacism.
Lorenzo Vidino, director of the Program on Extremism at George Washington University, “said most protesters are free of any foreign support, certain countries undoubtedly have an interest in them. Some, such as Russia and China, are mainly interested in sowing dissent inside the U.S., while others are interested in both U.S. turmoil and support for Palestinian issue.”
But one must remember that Iran’s fifth column in America and elsewhere is active. Israel National News pointed out that “Americans are willingly allowing themselves to be indoctrinated by their enemies, Hamas terrorists moonlighting as journalists. It is as if America had received its information on the Vietnam war from the Viet Cong.”
Meanwhile, some encouraging news from Canada: a pro-Hamas encampment at the University of British Columbia has reportedly ended voluntarily, followed by many others which “have ended in recent days, some voluntarily and some forcibly.”
Although easily manipulated by foreign entities, leftists are unpredictable as they lurch from one revolutionary movement to the next. Although the zealous Islamic thrust that undergirds the Palestinian “resistance” against Israel from the River to the Sea has been active since 1948, it spring-boarded to Western countries with a new intensity since October 7. Iran et al are observing, and the Iranian regime seeks to entice leftist dhimmis to serve the regime’s agenda.
Also, the roots of the Palestinian “resistance” are grounded in an Islamic religious belief in “martyrdom.” This “resistance” is also financially rewarded by the Palestinian Authority. Such religious zeal is absent from American and other Western leftists, who take up any news-driven woke cause that suits them in the moment — from Black Lives Matter and Queers for Palestine to the trans indoctrination of kids.
Yet even though leftists gallop from one cause to another — all embraced under a woke banner — anti-American regimes are observing the weak links in the West: those who pander to causes and ideologies about which they are actually ignorant. Ignorance among the masses provides the most fertile soil for indoctrination and propaganda. It’s a given that enemy regimes would put money into funding America’s own demise from within.

I have 4 highly educated (Dr. degrees) people working for me that left Iran because of Iran’s politically dubious government actions. Think about it.
