Although Iran is denying any involvement in the recent assassination attempt on Trump, it does not mean that the regime does not pose a threat to Trump’s life. Nasser Kanaani, the spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, diverted attention away from that threat by saying “that the Iranian government is committed to pursuing legal action against Trump over the 2020 U.S. strike killing Qasem Soleimani,” but the threat is real. Iran is adept at deceit.
Even Politico reported:
Iran has for years plotted to get back at Trump for killing top Iranian general Qassem Soleimani in 2020, and the threat is increasing.
And more recently:
The U.S. intelligence community has received an increasing amount of evidence to suggest that Iran is actively working on plots to kill former President Donald Trump, potentially in the lead up to the election in November.
Since 2021, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei “posted online an apparent call for an attack on Donald Trump in revenge” for Soleimani’s death.
The Guardian also reported about the murderous regime:
In 2022, the US charged an alleged member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) with attempting to hire a hitman for $300,000 to kill John Bolton, the former national security adviser in the Trump administration.
The Department of Justice said Shahram Poursafi, also known as Mehdi Rezayi, offered the money in November 2021 to an unidentified person in the US to “eliminate” Bolton, apparently to avenge the drone killing of Suleimani.
Aside from revenge, Iran also has much to lose under a Trump presidency, as it was crippled with sanctions during Trump’s first term.
Iran knows that its days of glory under the Biden administration and its trajectory of dominance (regionally and globally) would be ended under Trump.
“Iran denies plot to kill Trump, after Secret Service reportedly alerted,” The Hill, July 17, 2024:
Iran’s Foreign Ministry on Wednesday criticized “malicious” reports that Tehran is plotting an assassination against former President Trump, following reported claims by the Biden administration that the former president’s security was increased amid threats to his life from Iran.
Nasser Kanaani, the spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said in a statement that the Iranian government is committed to pursuing legal action against Trump over the 2020 U.S. strike killing Qasem Soleimani, the top general in Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.
“However, it strongly rejects any involvement in the recent armed attack on Trump or claims about Iran’s intention for such an action, considering such allegations to have malicious political motives and objectives,” Kanaani said in a statement.
The Biden administration reportedly increased Trump’s security detail in recent weeks amid intelligence that Iran was plotting to kill the former president. The Biden administration has maintained security details for former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and former special representative for Iran Brian Hook, over threats from Iran to kill the men in retaliation for Soleimani’s killing….

Fascinating detail that Kimberley Cheatle was both a personal friend of Jill Biden AND previous Head of Security at Pepsi.
“Pepsi Hits The Spot” – almost did too…

If she doesn’t get fired you know she did her job of not doing her job of protecting Trump, as instructed by her deep state masters. I don’t think Iran had anything to do with it either, 100% deep state operation, probably came from Obama.

She needs to go back and protect bottles and cans.

It’s the job of the Secret Service people to protect…with their lives if necessary…person’s such as Mr. Trump.
Yet, the “director” said it was ‘too dangerous’ for some, or one, of them to be on a ‘slanted roof.’
Last year, an iranian was arrested and the claims made that he was in the country to kill Mr. Trump. There are spies for iran in the State Dept. It isn’t a stretch of the imagination to believe that iran had some influence in the attempt.
Maybe it’s that their guy was not quick enough on the trigger.
