Aziz Rashed is a brigadier-general in the “Moral Guidance Administration” of the Ansar Allah Defense Ministry, i.e. the Houthi movement. Rashed’s threat about Houthi missile attack capabilities to reach targets in the West in a year should be taken seriously, given the history of Houthi zeal, their backing by Iran, and their current weapons advancements.
Iran’s President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian spoke Monday with the leader of the Houthi rebels in Yemen, Mahdi al-Mashat. In the meeting, Pezeshkian “vowed that his administration would make efforts to further expand ties with the Houthis.”
Back in February, the Yemen government warned of a Houthi threat to the “world’s digital infrastructure.” The Houthis recently made good on their threat to use a homemade hypersonic missile to attack an Arabian Sea ship, and they also intend to target Israel.
The Houthis also continue to affect the Western economy by slowing down major shipments by means of attacks on carriers and shippers in the Red Sea.
The Iranian proxy has been rapidly escalating its jihad activities, yet continues to be underestimated.

On July 13, 2024 the website of Qatar’s Al-Jazeera network published an interview with Aziz Rashed, who was presented as a brigadier-general in the Moral Guidance Administration of the Ansar Allah Defense Ministry. In the interview Rashed threatens that, a year from now, the Houthi Ansar Allah militia will have missiles ” that can reach Europe or the Atlantic Ocean, so that America’s nuclear targets” will be within their range. According to Rashed, the militia’s hypersonic missiles, which can currently reach Bab Al-Mandeb, the Red Sea, the Arabia Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Mediterranean, along with the military force of Iran and the militias loyal to it in Iraq and Lebanon, deter the U.S. and deprive it of “strategic options.” He warns that, if the U.S. and its allies in the region decide to expand the war against the Houthis in Yemen, the resistance axis will support the Houthis with all its resources and abilities.

I look at it like this. If a sworn enemy of yours was holding a gun and stood in front of you and your family and said, “just you wait till I’ve finished loading this gun I’m going to blow the brains out of the lot of you.” Well only a fool would allow him to continue loading it, especially if they were already holding a loaded gun. Well that’s exactly what is happening here. They have to be confronted now or otherwise we will be facing a far bigger problem.
