SAARLOUIS. The Saarland police have revised their statements about an alleged xenophobic attack in Saarlouis. The incident in which an unknown person is said to have set a German Shepherd on a Syrian “did not actually happen,” the police headquarters told Die Welt. The investigation is now directed against the person who made the report. There is “suspicion of faking a crime.” The authorities have so far refused to provide further details “for investigative tactical reasons.”
In June, the police announced that a 28-year-old Syrian had been seriously injured in a dog attack in Saarlouis and that a “xenophobic motive” could not be ruled out. The authorities are looking for the unknown perpetrator and are asking the public for information.
Initial reports repeatedly turn out to be false
In recent decades, reports of alleged right-wing extremist attacks have repeatedly turned out to be false reports. In 2006, for example, the killing of Ermyas Mulugeta, of Ethiopian descent, was initially classified as a racist murder. Later investigations found that the crime had a non-political background.In 2007, a similar false assessment was made with the “Mügeln hunt.” In 2018, initial reports of “hunts” in Chemnitz turned out to be false in retrospect. Dogs know which people are a threat to them and their owners. A dog may attack someone based on their canine instincts or a visible threat. Dogs don’t always need owners to ‘set them upon’ someone.
If the lying mozlum was really chewed up by a dog, perhaps he was threatening the dog, the owner, or the instincts of the dog told him that the mozlum meant to do harm.
On the other hand, if the mozlum was engaged in an activity which led to his being injured, the police should be looking in to that, as well as charging him with whatever crimes they have on the books about lying to the authorities.
As others have written, the authorities seem to focus way more often on the lies and claims of these mozlum invaders than on the real crimes committed by these mozlum invaders.
And if some dog did do a chew, then kudos to the dog. Dogs can recognize scum when they smell and see it.
