Canada’s ‘Islamophobia czar’ complains of ‘anti-Muslim and anti-Arab backlash,’ offers no examples

Amira Elghawaby knows that the establishment media in Canada and elsewhere will report her claims uncritically. After all, to ask her for evidence or challenge her in any way would be “Islamophobic.”

Canadian employers won’t hire outspoken Muslim advocates of “Palestinian human rights,” says cabinet’s Special Representative on Combating Islamophobia.

“Over the past several months Canadian Muslims have shared their growing concerns about an increase in an anti-Muslim, anti-Palestinian and anti-Arab backlash,” said the report, A Hopeful Path Forward For Canada’s Muslim Communities. It claims such advocacy led to a loss of income, threats to current or future employment, harassment, violence, vandalism and exclusion.

Amira Elghawaby, the author and special representative, provided no examples to substantiate her claims, reported Blacklock’s Reporter.

Alleged hiring bans followed the October 7 killing and kidnapping of 1,200 Jews in Israel by Hamas, including eight Canadians.

Parliament recognized Hamas as a terrorist entity, under the Criminal Code in November 2002.

“We have been watching heartbreaking scenes from the Middle East over the past several months,” wrote Elghawaby, who emphasized a “distressing number of civilian deaths and injuries” in the aftermath of Hamas terror.

At least 34,568 Palestinians have been killed and 77,765 wounded in Israel’s military offensive on Gaza since October 7, the Gaza health ministry said in a statement, whose statistics are in dispute.

“The war has had a direct impact on many in our country including Canadian Muslims and particularly those of Palestinian descent,” wrote Elghawaby, noting many face “anxiety” about their ability to assemble and freely express themselves on Palestinian human rights. She did not elaborate.

Last January, the Trudeau government appointed Elghawaby to a $ 191,000-a-year cabinet adviser role. “She has demonstrated throughout her years sensitivity and openness,” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told reporters….

  3. At the very least, given that–per Qur’an 33:59–jilbab is a non-verbal expression of Islamic supremacy, they should not hire them to work amongst Canada’s “filthy, unbelieving women”.

Endless murderous Muslim terrorist attacks, rape gangs by Muslim scum and, somehow, these evil, barbaric pieces of shit seem to think that we non-Muslims should think that that’s all OK and we should like the scum.       • Yes, somehistory and Bruce, it seems so weird to me how Muslims seem to think, I suppose because they are told that they are the “best of people” (the worst of people in my opinion) and we non-Muslims are terrible and hated people, that they can commit endless murderous terrorist attacks, rapes and all the other disgusting, evil acts they indulge in, because their bullshit version of god tells them it is all OK, and we are supposed to like them. It is simple. You treat people well and you will have a good chance that people will treat you OK, the golden rule of human behaviour. islam is so evil I loathe it and I want it to be shut out of all non-Muslim countries. Islamofascist Erdogan specially came to see it in person expecting Turkey to win…. The duel was played in Berlin, Germany… The Turkish public present was behaving very loud and booing/whistling every possession of the ball by the Dutch..and so on . Nasty “supporters”….   17. We have a rule in our HR department, and it’s to NEVER EVER hire one of allahu’s ackbarbarians. It’s not islamophobic (whatever that is). It’s more of a safety issue. Sometimes (not all the time) muslims will kill the infidels, and most of the infidels I know don’t want to be killed, so it’s best to not hire them.

It will get messy as we know they will take our women and children hostage, even slaughter our children like they did in the Beslan school seige! There is no such thing as Islamaphobia, only those who know about islam and those who buy their Taqiyya! To say there are good muslims is also misguided, most polls among muslims show over 70% support some form or aspects of sharia, whether its throwing gays off of buildings, or taking women as slaves. Islam is a crime against humanity and should be treated as such. Their own texts directs them to offer 3 choices, 1 – submit to paying the Jizhya (be a slave), 2 – convert to islam, or 3 murder us.
    Islam has a long and bloody history and the ENTIRE GENOCIDE CULT MUST FACE JUSTICE. Change your texts and teachings or no more $ or support from the west. If you leave islam, you can come to us, but at this time, all Mosques should be closed and all muslims deported to a muslim country of their choice! 0 Tolerance!
