It’s looking increasingly as if Old Joe Biden is coming to the end of his disastrous reign as the figurehead of the most America-Last, authoritarian administration this country has ever suffered, but even as speculation mounts that we have entered the last period of Biden misrule, there is no clarity about what will happen or if anything will happen at all. The increasingly dementia-ridden kleptocrat has four options. Which one he will choose, however, or which will be chosen for him, is anybody’s guess.
The writing was on the wall for Old Joe when former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Smirnoff), Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-Grillmaster), and finally the patron saint of the Democrat Party, Barack Hussein Obama himself, told Biden that it was time for him to shuffle haltingly off the stage. This brought to mind the storied final days of the presidency of the only man to resign the office, Richard M. Nixon.
On Aug. 7, 1974, U.S. Sen. Barry Goldwater (R-Ariz.), the pioneering conservative who was ten years removed from his shellacking in the 1964 presidential election and who had become a respected figure among even Republicans who had abhorred his presidential candidacy, went up to see the besieged Nixon in the White House. With Goldwater were House Minority Leader John Rhodes (R-Ariz.) and Senate Minority Leader Hugh Scott (R-Pa.).
This trio had bad news for the man who had carried 49 states in 1972 but since then had faced increasingly shrill and damaging accusations regarding the break-in of Democrat headquarters at Washington’s Watergate hotel during the 1972 campaign, and the subsequent cover-up of the break-in. Goldwater, Rhodes, and Scott told Nixon that his congressional support had diminished to the point that impeachment was certain and conviction and removal from office likely.
Nixon took them seriously. On the evening of Aug. 8, he announced that he would resign the presidency, effective at noon the next day.
That’s one possibility: Pelosi, Schumer, and Obama are this generation’s Goldwater, Rhodes and Scott, and Old Joe will resign the presidency. Biden, however, unlike Nixon, does not face impeachment proceedings and the possibility of removal from office after a conviction. That means that despite his obvious inability to perform the duties of his office, Biden may be allowed to stay on as president until Jan. 20, 2025, and simply announce that he is not running for reelection.
That option may allow the world’s most famous dementia sufferer to save face, but it is risky. It would mean that Biden would continue to display his cognitive decline to a watching world all through the presidential campaign, regularly reminding the electorate that the political and media elites gaslighted us for over three years about Biden’s condition. That’s a bad look for a party that faces a challenge from a man who just got shot in the head and jumped up and told his followers to fight.

Despite the reporting, I’d be very surprised if Biden leaves. First of all, he is bitter about Obama picking Hillary over him in 2016, when he could have been likelier to win, and was not as addled as he is now. So if he senses that Obama is behind any move to remove him, he’ll dig in his heels
Also, if he drops out of the race, there is nothing stopping his cabinet from removing him using the 25th Amendment. The reason nobody has done that is that they know that they are losers who wouldn’t be re-appointed for their jobs by a new (D) POTUS. But if he becomes a lame duck, they could be more motivated to do that simply so that their chances of being reappointed by his successor improve
The other thing is that he has the party by the cajones: there is nothing they can do to remove him. Even if they pull the 25th Amendment on him & replace him w/ Kamala, he could simply drop her as his running mate (yes, he does have that option), pick someone from the Left which has been quiet about removing him (since most of their wish list has been fulfilled) and run. While it’s likely that Trump will win anyway making that point moot, point is that the Dems have stuff to lose by not removing him, but nothing to gain by removing him
In the polls, Kamala fares even worse than him, and so do the others, like Newsom, Whitmer and others. Their only selling point is that they won’t be addled. It’s also unlikely that Dems will be enthusiastic about anyone (other than Mike Obama, who won’t be running), thereby their down-ballot candidates have nothing to really gain by Biden remaining on the ticket
At this point, after the assassination attempt, I do think the Dems have given up. The lawfare has failed, w/ only the New York sentencing left, but even there, they’ll have to retry that case while removing any of the immunity-covered decisions that Trump made. I do think that there is a chance of this being 1984, not only due to the excitement in the GOP, but also due to the other leftist candidates like RFK, Jill Stein and Cornel West

This time, though, I don’t think that Trump’s security, before he is elected, will be solely owned by the Secret Service. I’m sure that others who’ve volunteered his security in the past, such as Bikers for Trump, might also want a part of the action to fill in such holes

Democrats are in melt down mode. Biden doesn’t want to quit. He feels betrayed by forces within the crat party. President Trump survived an attempt on his life and honestly I think some dems (deep state) knew something, tried something, were counting on his assassination to throw the republicans in to disarray. But that failed and now I wouldn’t be surprised if the dems try to kill biden and blame it on MAGA because that is how they roll. The dems try to put the label of violent extremist on the opposition but violent extremism is the lefts trade craft. Always has been, always will be.

I just love the circular firing squad within the Dems. Now AOC has stepped in supporting Biden remaining, pointing out accurately that there is no guarantee that Dems would unite behind Kamala. Granted, she’s still full of TDS & still calling him a neo-Nazi, a week after his attempted assassination, but outside the Biden circle, she does seem to be loyal to him, regardless of his health

Already, CNN has been projecting that Trump wins several blue states as well, including NJ, VA, MN,…. If there is enough of a turmoil, they could, w/ some luck, end up losing all 50 states

Trump, like Reagan before him, Trump stands for giving more power to the individual and less power to the destructive governmental/bureaucratic behemoth we have today. A huge and entangled web that has grown so big that it is suffocating the individual. The individual American that they pretend to represent. That is why they hate him.
