Imagine Albanese’s embarrassment when he discovers Islamic antisemitism, and is prevented from moving against it for fear of falling into “Islamophobia.” But by then it will likely be far too late.
The Jews in the Qur’an are called the strongest of all people in enmity toward the Muslims (5:82); they fabricate things and falsely ascribe them to Allah (2:79; 3:75, 3:181); they claim that Allah’s power is limited (5:64); they love to listen to lies (5:41); they disobey Allah and never observe his commands (5:13). They are disputing and quarreling (2:247); hiding the truth and misleading people (3:78); staging rebellion against the prophets and rejecting their guidance (2:55); being hypocritical (2:14, 2:44); giving preference to their own interests over the teachings of Muhammad (2:87); wishing evil for people and trying to mislead them (2:109); feeling pain when others are happy or fortunate (3:120); being arrogant about their being Allah’s beloved people (5:18); devouring people’s wealth by subterfuge (4:161); slandering the true religion and being cursed by Allah (4:46); killing the prophets (2:61); being merciless and heartless (2:74); never keeping their promises or fulfilling their words (2:100); being unrestrained in committing sins (5:79); being cowardly (59:13-14); being miserly (4:53); being transformed into apes and pigs for breaking the Sabbath (2:63-65; 5:59-60; 7:166); and more. They are under Allah’s curse (9:30), and Muslims should wage war against them and subjugate them under Islamic hegemony (9:29).
“Australia appoints special envoys as antisemitism, Islamophobia rise over Gaza war,” by Hilary Whiteman, CNN, July 9, 2024:
The Australian government is appointing the country’s first envoys to fight antisemitism and Islamophobia in an attempt to prevent further fraying of social cohesion over the war in Gaza.
Announcing the positions on Tuesday, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said that conflict between Israel and Hamas in the Middle East had caused “a great deal of grief” for Jewish and Islamic communities in Australia.
“Australians overwhelmingly do not want conflict brought here. What they want here is harmony and for people to be able to get on with each other,” he said….
Albanese said Tuesday that Jewish lawyer Jillian Segal had been appointed to consult Jewish Australians, experts and the wider community about ways to best address antisemitism.
“One of the things that I have found quite shocking is the lack of knowledge and experience about antisemitism and about where it leads,” Albanese said from the Jewish Museum in Sydney where he made the announcement.
“I have spoken with members of the Jewish community here, in Melbourne, right around Australia, who have not felt safe, members of the Jewish community whose children are worried about wearing their school uniform in our capital cities. That’s not acceptable,” he said.
The Executive Council of Australian Jewry (ECAJ), which represents the Jewish community, recorded a spike in antisemitic incidents from October to November 2023. The group said Tuesday reports of antisemitic incidents in Australia are still running 400-500% higher than before the conflict….
Albanese said a “special envoy for Islamophobia” will be appointed “shortly” in a similar role to work with the Muslim community to promote social cohesion….

The special envoy for ‘Islamophobia’ will no doubt be quite helpful in identifying every muslim who joins up to deface a synogogue or assault a Jew as somehow a victim of bigotry.

Indeed.
In Australia islamophobia often consists of someone looking at a Muslim in a funny way or calling them a terrorist. It is minimal and the term itself itself is of course a fake.
Antisemitism consists not of mutual tensions or “clashes”- a term favoured by media – but simple and solely by Muslims and lefties assaulting, kicking, intimidating, threatening and vilifying Jews, boycotting Jewish businesses, graffitiing Jewish premises, “protesting” outside Jewish shops, and by driving at least one Jewish family out of a neighbourhood by constant harassment, the husband being thrown out of a band for being Zionist, as revealed in a giant doxxing operation on a few hundred Jewish creatives. They, as a result of being “exposed”, have had their work opportunities dry up.
One of the doxxers works for the Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) as do at least 2 Muslim Hamas supporters.
The AHRC itself has decided that antisemitism itself is best dealt with by being either ignored or subsumed into “community” work, while “Islamophobia” has been cleverly inflated to include “anti-Arab racism” and “antiPalestinian racism”, thus getting three falsehoods for the price of one.
As the original memorial for the oct 7th victims at the Opera House became a riot of Hamas celebrations, so too did a later memorial for soldiers killed by Hamas at Monash University in Victoria, where Hamas supporters monstered Jews trying to enter the building and rioted outside to stop the whole ceremony.
Several Israelis have been cancelled from performing or appearing at conferences due to Muslim pressure.
Attendees going to an antisemitism rally organised by a Christian pastor to show solidarity with Jews were forced to go through 2 rows of Hamas supporters as they came out of a train station and were kicked and punched as they walked out. No arrests, police did nothing.
One Jewish lady in a wheelchair had her flag stolen, as is usual.
Etc. Etc.

Anthony Albanese himself was and still is a believer in the all the usual lefty rhetoric Hamas supporters scream at protests, illegal, colonial, apartheid etc.
he was screaming it himself at protests when younger, on numerous occasions, as a younger lefty..
His nickname is Mr Magoo.

The muslims in Australia aren’t too happy with the Labor government for supporting Israel. The muslims always invite the head politicians to Eid at the end of Ramadhan, but not this year.

“Australia appoints special envoys to combat antisemitism and ‘Islamophobia’”
I am anxious to see the whiplash that the envoys will encounter as a result of the backlash to their mission. The fact that they included islamophobia in their combative mission proves that they still believe they can live in harmony with mohammedans. This has to be the most useless mission to no-where that I have seen in a long time.
carpediadem says
IT doesn’t mean that at all.
Labor (Albanese’s party) depends on the Muslim vote and the Muslims have decided that Labor does not hate Israel enough.
The envoys’ appointments is to ensure nothing stops Islamic antisemitism and the islamophobia appointment is part of that false equation Jewhaters love to do in pretending it is the same as antisemitism.
It’s all a PR move, an expensive one,l, and more money will go to Muslims as a sop to their hatred and as bribery to keep voting Labor, as they control several crucial Labor seats.
But they have formed a Muslim Vote bloc a la UK and things will not go well for Labor or Australia.

I guess he wouldn’t appoint a committee to investigate Christphobia

There has been an appalling surge in anti-Jewish hatred here in Australia, exactly like what has been happening in all western nations, because Australia has imported the poison of islam and its followers and because the trendy left wing shitheads out here are working together with the Muslims. There has been no islamophobia at all. Australia is cursed with a left wing, useless Labor government and they are sucking up to the Muslims, who they just love to import into the country in huge numbers, idiots that they are, so if the say that anti-semitism has to be fought against then they are bound to say that islamophobia has to be fought against even though the anti-Jewish activities have been ferocious and terrible but there has been no islamophobia on display at all. It’s all just the usual bullshit from this hopeless government and it has taken them ages to say anything about the terrible anti-Jewish sentiment rampaging out here in Australia for months now.
