As The History of Jihad explains, innumerable churches, synagogues, Hindu temples, and houses of worship of other religions were converted into mosques, or mosques were built over their ruins, in order to demonstrate the victory and superiority of Islam. Some Muslims intentionally work to appropriate the sacred sites of other religions so as to show this superiority. Think of how many sites are disputed between Muslims and other religions: the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, Hagia Sophia and the Chora Church in Istanbul, the Ram Mandir in India, and so very many others. Now think of any religious site that is disputed between members of two non-Muslim religions. There must be some, but there are far fewer.
“Now, Jains seek right to worship in disputed Bhojshala-Kamal Maula Mosque complex,” PTI, July 1, 2024:
Indore: A social activist has filed a writ petition in the Indore bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court, seeking the “right to worship” for his Jain community members in the disputed Bhojshala-Kamal Maula Mosque complex in Dhar.
The petition has claimed this complex once used to be a Jain Gurukul and a Jain temple where an idol of Goddess Ambika was installed.
The HC is likely to hear this week the petition filed on June 29 by Delhi-based social activist Salek Chand Jain, his lawyer Manohar Singh Chauhan said Monday.
The plea has been moved at a time when the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) is set to present a report on its survey of the 11-century Bhojshala complex in the HC following the court order.
The site is claimed by both Hindus and Muslims, leading to a dispute about its nature.
The HC on March 11 directed the ASI to carry out a ‘scientific survey’ of the Bhojshala complex, a medieval-era monument, on a petition by an organisation named ‘Hindu Front for Justice’.
While Hindus believe the monument is a temple of Goddess Vagdevi (Saraswati), the Muslim community calls it Kamal Maula Mosque.
The activist’s petition claimed there used to be a Jain Gurukul and Jain temple in the Bhojshala complex where monks from the community and scholars taught students….

Good luck with that. Muslims will revert to murderous, destructive violence because they can’t get their way….. causing fear once again for those involved to back down and allows Islam to dominate like a bully and do what ever the hell they want because no one has enough fortitude to draw the line in the sand and say enough is enough.

India has two pretty evil laws, both introduced in the 90s. One was the “Places of Worship Act, 1991”, which declared that the status of every religious structure would be preserved the way it was on India’s independence day in 1947, which precluded Hindus, Jains or Sikhs from reclaiming any mosques that were built after demolishing temples. the other one was the “Waqf Act, 1997”, which enabled the Indian Waqf Board to claim any real estate in India that it liked, leaving the onus on the property owner to prove their ownership
To date, none of the parties that have ruled India had the moral courage to repeal these laws. Which is one of the myriad reasons that islam is still as aggressive as it is in that country. There was a whole lot of congratulations towards India this January when the Rama temple was inaugurated, but that’s not even a drop in the bucket. As Hugh pointed out when he used to write about India, there are some 2000 temples listed in 2 books by Sitaram Goel, That’s just the documented temples. Other than that, it’s estimated that there are some 40,000 temples of Hindus, Jains, Buddhists and Sikhs that were destroyed by the muslim conquerors of India over those 800 years
Don’t expect Jains or Hindus to get justice in this case. It won’t happen until the day India gets a party that repeals both the laws I listed above
