What Hamas lies about is what it’s afraid of.
Leftist pro-terrorist propaganda is usually tethered to at least some kind of reality. When Hamas terrorists are killed, they describe them as civilians. A raid to free Israeli hostages is reinterpreted as a massacre.
The tactical purpose of this propaganda is to turn Israeli strengths into weaknesses by using fake atrocity claims to limit freedom of action.
So how do we explain this bout of lunacy about dogs raping Hamas terrorists?
And of course, there’s an Al-Jazeera logo on the video.
This whole thing seems to harken back to the more absurd “spy dolphin” genre of Muslim terror agitprop.
Israeli security forces used a dolphin to chase Hamas frogman commandos off the coast of the Gaza Strip, the terrorist organization claimed on Monday, according to a report by Al-Quds.
There’s a whole history of various animals being unleashed by the Jews on the poor innocent Muslims. And much of that propaganda is spread by anti-Israel activists.
Palestinian Authority boss Mahmoud Abbas, the capo di tutti capi of the PLO and Fatah, ranted, “Every night, they release wild pigs against us.”
Michael Taussig, an anti-Israel BDS activist and a Professor of Anthropology at Columbia University, repeated a claim that “rampaging gazelles and wild boar emerging from that John F Kennedy National Park” were attacking Muslims.
But the propaganda during the Oct 7 war has been more focused which allows it to be taken seriously. So what’s going on here?
Pro-Hamas propaganda is a response to an actual threat currently experienced by Islamic terrorists. The dog rape story is a response to a real threat posed by dogs, not to detained terrorists, but to terrorists in the field.
Much as dogs proved vital against the Caliph of ISIS, the canine heroes are fighting Hamas. And biting them.
A vigilant team detected suspicious movements in the mosque area. After checks with the intelligence officials in the field, it was decided to close all the streets around the mosque and to send “Sam,” the attack dog of the Oketz Unit.
He smelled the courtyard of the mosque, entered independently into one of the spaces in the building and scanned it, heard noises, and went down through a hidden staircase that led him to the terrorists from the Nukhba special forces of Hamas. An armed terrorist was hiding on the side of the narrow building, and only an iron net separated them. Sam, at this point, acted completely independently, located another small opening, entered the room, jumped at one of the terrorists, and bit him hard.
It was one dog against seven terrified terrorists who ran to grab weapons. Sam was sharp and attacked several terrorists one after the other. In the background, you could hear the terrorists’ screams of pain and cries for help. One of the terrorists shot at him but didn’t. Sam was “locked” by biting the hand of one of the terrorists who was holding a weapon. Finally, another terrorist shot Sam at short range and overpowered him.
Dogs, unlike Islamic terrorists, are loyal, brave and true.
The latest Hamas propaganda is targeting dogs in order to stop them from being used on the battlefield. What Hamas and its supporters lie about is what they’re afraid of.

I once watched “COPS”…”bad boys song played”…and frequently the police would send a dog into the brush to take a bite out of crime. The guy running away couldn’t out run the dog and soon would be on the ground begging the cops to stop the dog.

Mohammedan hatred of dogs is engrained, as another poster has reported. Throughout the whole of the dar al Islam dogs are despised and treated with great cruelty. (Which should also enable us to understand the full ugliness of the Muslim slogan, ‘The Jews are our dogs..’). So as we read the story Hugh has quoted, of an IDF dog entering a nest of jihadis, one can see it not only as a dog assisting and defending his humans by tracking down their enemies; but ALSO as a dog striking a blow (or, in this case, taking a good hard bite!) on behalf of all the other dogs that have suffered – and still suffer – from Muslim cruelty.

Dogs can be trusted, Wellington. No one has to guess when meeting a strange dog what to do, nor if they own a dog do they have to worry about it suddenly taking out a knife and stabbing the owner in the back.

I traveled in the Mid East 45 years ago and in Egypt Syria, Afghanistan etc. Dogs were stoned, tortured, beaten with sticks even by little boys and trucks go out of their way to run over stray dogs.

Yes, Poetcomic–I have heard–and seen in videos–many such cases of Islamic animal abuse. Here in the civilized world we recognize this abuse as an indication of psychotic behavior. Many who abuse animals go on to abuse and murder people as well.
Of course, Islam sacralizes both.

As it happens, before I knew much of anything about Islam (read, pre-ISIS 2015, when I set to study up on what-all these creeps were and why) I had a black puppy. A neighbour was married to a Muslim, they were a young couple with a business. I was going by with my puppy and she saw him and ran out to fawn over him like everyone else. She said come in and let X meet him! So we went in there. When he saw the puppy his eyes went really big. He ran behind the two women in the room and tried to crouch down and hide. She said, “X, what’s wrong, it’s only a puppy!” He ran behind a desk “Get him away, get him away from me!” She picked up the pup and went towards him, holding pup out and petting him, “look, he’s cute, he’s just a little puppy!” The screams and yells of terror from that man were heard all the way down the street I’m sure.
She and the other woman were mystified and so was I. I thought it was a severe case of phobia for some reason. Wife was very confused and backed with pup. Then I left the building.
Later she said he had seen a man being tortured by having dogs turned on him–and it was another Islamic group that used them. It’s true he had escaped a regime in the Middle East, and it was part of the Shia/Sunni divide. I won’t give more details. However, I am doubtful that it’s true. I don’t think Muslims use dogs except as target practice, unless they are in the Caucasus regions, like Turkey, where dogs are essential to sheep keeping. The Turks has traditions of MANY kinds of Livestock Guardian Dogs, and in the hadiths–I believe it’s there–when Mohammed had pronounced dogs haram and thus unlawful, and Gibril had said he wouldn’t enter a building with a painting or dog (am I right about that one?) someone asked the prophet “what about the people who have dogs in their work?” In other words, the conquered lands where they were already using dogs, against the wolves bears and mountain lions (and they still use them today in the mountains all over Eurasia). So an exception was made.
Otherwise, dogs are filth. Especially to Arab muslims. And not just filth but also DANGEROUS and black dogs are said to be demonic.
My advice? Get a black dog. Raise wild boars.

That’s another point, St. Croix, besides the unhinged hatred of dogs itself–if this Mohammedan really believed that this puppy was a threat, he *hides behind the two women, including his wife*. How many Infidel men would act this way? If they really thought–rightly or wrongly–that an animal was potentially dangerous, their main thought would be to *protect* their wife and friend, not hide behind them.
But we know that this is mainstream Muslim behavior, from bin Laden to Hamas.
