What was the FBI really afraid of?
One of the stranger things about the Mar-a-Lago raid was the discussion about whether the surveillance cameras should be on or off.
Eric Trump had previously said that the FBI asked them to turn off surveillance cameras during the raid. And that they refused and the cameras had caught agents entering restricted parts of the estate.
Jack Smith admitted in a recent filing that the cameras were turned off at “out of concern for agent safety” before they were then turned on again by the request of the Trump attorneys.
But what exactly was the nature of the threat to the agents from the cameras being on? Were the Feds worried about getting into a shootout with Trump security? Unlikely.
The only alternative is that they were afraid of being identified. But the names and identities of FBI personnel are not supposed to be a state secret.
So either the FBI was trying to keep the identities of its personnel taking part in the raid secret or it was trying to flout the terms of the search warrant.
Either one is police state behavior.

Do you know who tries to avoid surveillance cameras? Criminals. The creeps had to turn the cameras off. It was their only option. Showing up wearing masks and hoodies would have been too obvious.
The fbi and their conduct regarding President Trump. Treason or sedition? Maybe a little of both along with some conspiracy and criminality thrown in for good measure.

If not to hide their identities, then to hide what they were doing. If not to hide what they were doing, then it was to hide their identities.
Perhaps they didn’t want supporters of Mr. Trump to see who was doing what which was not supposed to be done in the home of a person who had legally occupied the chair in the WH.
Perhaps they didn’t wish anyone….even their bosses or their own wives….to see them going through Mrs. Trump’s unmentionables.
The mobs who are currently rioting for terrorists, wear masks. The terrorists of hamas wear masks; hezbollah wear masks; antifa, and blm are masked when breaking laws; bandits and banditos of the past wore masks.
But the fbi are not supposed to do that when executing a warranted search.
And did they explain to the attorneys just how the cameras were a danger to the agents?
Cameras are everywhere. Even in the hands of children and on phones carried by little old ladies and gentlemen. Perhaps these should be warned about the dangers from their ***cameras.*** to those whom they wish to photograph
Must have been a fear of *overexposure.*

One aspect of the law, James, is that the government is not allowed to do what the average person cannot do. I believe that they break this part of the law time and again and get away with it.
Using surveillance to spy on us is one way they break it, because they have ways and means not available to the general public.
I’ll have to ask my attorney son what you have pondered, and get back to you.
