UK: London’s Muslim mayor bans taxi drivers from flying England flags

Pretty soon the English flag will bear the shehada, and that one they’ll be able to fly at will.

Nigel Farage has accused London Mayor Sadiq Khan of “hating England” after London cab drivers were banned from flying England flags during the Euros.

Transport for London (TfL), which is responsible for the capital’s transport network and is chaired by Mr Khan, has warned the city’s 125,000 cab drivers they face stiff penalties – including the loss of their black cab licences – if they fly the Cross of St George in their vehicles.

Officially, symbols are banned over concerns they could distract drivers and other road users….

Reform UK leader Mr Farage was quick to wade in on X, formerly Twitter, saying: “Khan really hates England.”…

    English fags are amongst the best in the world, and use the best tobacco! Don’t forget, it was Sir Walter Raleigh who first brought to tobacco to Britain and Europe from the Americas!

    There is nothing wrong with sucking on a good fag after a meal. As a Muslim, Sadiq Khan (aka KHAAAAN!!) knows that fags are discouraged, but not strictly forbidden!

    But, if you mean “fag” by the vulgar Yankee usage (as in “God hates fags”), then it is possible that Mr. Khan has banned gay prostitution. However, I don’t know exactly where he stands on that.

    Really, Mr. Spencer, you need to kick back, smoke a Cuban cigarillo and drink a mojito, and worry about the tobacco culture in YOUR country, and let US worry about the ONE in OURS! ALRIGHTY THEN??!!

    Does the “Palestinian” flag also have the potential to distract drivers and other road users?

    • I would have thought Kahn’s London buses, completely covered with the colours of the gay Rainbow Flag, were a much greater “distraction” than the St George’s Flag of England !
      On my land in Italy I fly St George’s Flag every day, and people like it.

  10. It’s England’s national flag, not Pakistan’s. Khan is a traitor to England but a hero in Pakistan and other Islamic countries. Khan is effectively banning people having pride in their own country, England.
