A good start.
The Southern Poverty Law Center, a hateful scam, has been in freefall ever since it purged its founder, who originated the scam. Say what you will about Morris Dees (and as a guy whom the SPLC named as a hate group of one, I’ve had lots to say over the years), but he was a good self-promoter. Post-Dees, the SPLC has become a generic albeit somewhat more professional leftist group caught in its own cancel culture spiral.
The SPLC has been battling its own union which in typical nonprofit fashion is even worse than the group (it endorsed Islamic terror) and has now reportedly cut a quarter of its staff. That’s bigger than it sounds because that’s only about 60 people.
That may take it down to around 400.
The SPLC union claims that SPLC shouldn’t be firing anyone when it has nearly a billion in reserves. I say they should fire everyone and do something useful for a change. Like sell hot dogs.
Currently, the SPLC has a report attacking pro-life groups and is promoting LGBTQ education in the South.
This is a long way from Morris Dees pretending to be Jewish and sending envelopes with Klansmen on them to old ladies asking for money.
The SPLC is another generic leftist group that’s trying to do everything. It really needs to get back to basics and focus on fighting me.

I’d say 75% too little. SPLC, ACLU and ADL should all go belly up, as they are nothing but worthless propaganda organizations

I’m from britain, I used to post here regularly like 3 or 4 years ago. Anyway:
I just have to say I can’t believe loathsome groups like SPLC and “Media Matters” still continue on and somebody still keeps them in existence. These seem like gimmick organisations from the 2000s.
Like – how I feel about Media Matters – everyone knows FOX is more right-wing than the other channels, so Media Matters are not “exposing” any bias. They’re like people who are still trying to sell walkmans or something. Same goes for SPLC trying to pretend everyone who doesn’t toe their insane line is the KKK.
It’s like leftist cultism is a never-ending disease

Fox being more “right wing” than other channels isn’t saying much. All their prominent right-wing personalities that they used to have – Lou Dobbs, Dan Bongino, Tucker Carlson, et al are gone. What’s left is something more akin to NewsNation, which is a Centrist channel: Fox is pretty much there, sans the Chris Cuomos. Not sure it’s much better in Britain, where GBNews got rid of Dan Wootton, and there is OFCOM to breathe down the necks of TV broadcasters. Mark Steyn finally had to pull out of there
The only Right leaning channels are the ones one won’t get if one has a normal cable distribution. Best thing would be to download KlowdTV app on one’s FireTV or Roku or whatever, and then on that, watch OANN or Newsmax or Salem News or First TV

infidel,
I think that you’re right about Fox.
It certainly better than the horrific mainstream media, but the powers that be at Fox keep the current crop of “television hosts” on a short leash.

25 % cut. How are they going to monitor what we say here anymore?

They don’t need to: how many people do they need to just make things up about the people they disagree w/?

An organization that at one time 60 years ago had some kind of purpose .They seem to not care about “poverty” in the south now they play “lawfare” games with anyone a little to the right of “Stalin” or “Po Pot ” .In the media ,publishing, or just voicing an opinion based on Christian values and running a business they make a target .The people running the alphabet agencies in federal government take the centers “expert opinion” as gospel truth and the MSM takes everything the center says as the truth not checking on the facts. They are myth makers ,making boggey men up to help fund their drive to be relevant .

I think it is about time that the organization did the BLM thing and just buy $24M estates for each remaining employee and just walked away…

Still, leftist attorneys the United States still use the Southern Poverty Law Center as a “legitimate” source.

Yes might as well quote Stalin or Marx as legitimate as CNN .
