South Africa: Minister says countries that arm and fund Israel will be prosecuted at International Court of Justice

South African Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Naledi Pandor gave a talk about the situation in Rafah and the International Court of Justice (ICJ) hearings at the Stegman Road Mosque – Masjid Al-Jaamia Stegman in Claremont, a suburb of Cape Town, on May 28, 2024. She said that she wishes that she were shoulder to shoulder with the men and women in Rafah. Pandor stated that the countries and officials that continue to fund and arm “Israel’s war machine” will be liable for prosecution in the International Criminal Court. She added that U.S. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson stated that “if the ICC is allowed to threaten Israel’s leaders, then we know America will be next,” and to this South Africa responds with: “Of course.” Pandor continued to say that there is a planned class action suit against foreigners who are serving in the IDF but are not Israeli citizens. Naledi Pandor’s talk was streamed live on Ahmed Meshtawy on YouTube.

Minister Naledi Pandor: “I feel that despite all, you are saying, ‘I am doing what I am doing from too safe a position.’ I would wish I were shoulder to shoulder with the men and women in Rafah. That is where I feel I should be. Say, ‘Allah Akbar!'”

Congregants: “Allah Akbar!”

Pandor: “We have been denied that opportunity by the circumstances of our geography, and thus we must do what we can, which I shall speak about today. Many people write to me; I get lots of emails. Sometimes from some of you here. You write to me and say: ‘Minister Pandor, you are not radical enough. You are not doing enough, when are you going to lead a Jihad?’ I can’t! So I say to them, the world has a standing institution whose mandate is to protect people, whose mandate is peace and security, whose mandate is to judge on issues of international law, and it is vital, as people of the south, that we test these institutions.

“Those countries and officials who continue to arm and fund Israel’s war machine will be liable for prosecution as well. And civil society organizations will certainly take up such cases, and hold those who have facilitated this genocide accountable by taking them to court. Already there is a planned class action [suit] on all foreigners who have been serving in the IDF. A group of 140 international lawyers are working on this case and are very carefully identifying each of these non-citizens of Israel – including South Africans – who have been fighting in Israel, and a class action [suit] will soon be underway.”

Crowd: “Allah Akbar!”

Pandor: “It is very disturbing that the U.S. Speaker of the House of Congress, Mike Johnson, has responded to the ICC prosecutor’s decision by saying that America should punish the ICC and put Karim Khan back in his place. This is what I have also received… He said that if the ICC is allowed to threaten Israel’s leaders, then we know that America will be next. Our response is: Of course!”

      • Man, I wish I could go back in time, and perform abortions on the spawning mothers of Mahound, Hitler, Marx, Stalin and Mao. These five demons, between them, are responsible for at least a couple of hundred million deaths, and untold misery.

  3. This is rich coming from a South African leader where whites are killed on a daily basis. South Africa is headed for famine.

  4. Ask the south african government about the slaughter of the white farmers. I guess white lives don’t matter to them. The south african government should be sent to the world court and charged with the genocide of white south africans. To hell with \south Africa !

  6. This posturing backfired on the ANC. They thought this issue would help them win votes. Turned out that they lost a lot of votes and parties like the PA, with an avowedly pro Israel position, actually took those votes. SA for all its faults is a Christian country and most citizens do not overtly support Islamic extremism. The whole ANC pro Israel support was paid for by Hamas to fund a desperate ANC and turned out that this little bargain cost the ANC dearly.

  7. Firstly one should avoid conflating the ANC regime with the people of South Africa.
    The ANC was running out of funds and appears to have been funded by iran – with conditions eg support Hamas!
    The recent national elections showed that many voters rejected the ANC in favour of other parties which didn’t support Islamists eg the DA and MK.
    Pandor is a representative of a party which, through false propaganda, threats, indoctrination and violence maintained a majority vote until now. For the first time since regime change in 1994 they have under 50% of the votes and have lost 71 of the seats they had in parliament.
    I expect that there will be no support of Hamas in the new administration.

  11. Most Jews in South Africa left a few years ago. When Jews leave a country, it will fail, as we are now witnessing . That country was prosperous once. A friend of mine settled there with his wife in the mid 1960’s, the rand was then one to the pound sterling. When he came to retire ( from the aircraft industry ) he could not return to the UK as the rand was then 12 to the pound. Now is is just under 24, such is the effect to those governing S A now. The slaughter of white farmers has been going on, again for some years and obviously condoned by the A N C. And some there have the audacity to try prosecuting others abroad, whereas they would be well advised to limit their desires to home in South Africa.

  12. Why doesn’t Pandor say anything about the REAL genocides going on in Africa (for example, in Nigeria, Sudan, Mozambique, Burkina Faso and elsewhere) which are mainly being perpetrated by Islamist militias against Christians and others?

  14. South Africa continues to kill white farmers and they have the gall to make comments such as these?
