I got around to checking out what these queers for Palestine are actually saying, and it’s what I should have expected: “There is homophobia everywhere.” This is what feminists say when you try to get through to them about the dangers of allowing so many Muslim men into the West. Anyway, since there is homophobia everywhere, there are no costs for queers in supporting Hamas, or so they believe.
This is a fallacy, of course, though I don’t know its formal name, and but I’m sure they would change their minds if they actually had to live in Gaza.
