The idea behind this outpouring of violent rage is to frighten people to the extent that they will never dare to insult Islam again. Which is not to say that this “blasphemy” happened at all. The accusation is enough.

Police in north-western Pakistan launched a search on Friday for hundreds of individuals involved in a mob attack which saw a tourist murdered and his body burnt over allegations he desecrated a copy of the Quran, according to multiple media reports.
Mohammad Ismail was being held in a police station on Thursday night over accusations he burnt several pages of the Quran, the Associated Press reported while citing police official Zahid Khan. Hundreds of people then swarmed the station, abducting Ismail, beating him to death and burning his body.
Ismail’s body was recovered on a roadside after the attackers abandoned it.
The police station in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province which held Ismail was also burnt down, alongside several police cars, by the mob….

mozlums in pakistan don’t have to work…Christians and others do the jobs and mozlums steal from them what they want…so they can form a convenient mob anytime to go after someone and shed blood.
When they attacked the police station, why were they not shot? Why were they allowed just to abduct the prisoner and hang him, burn down the station and several cars?
Because the police are also mozlum. Why would they want to risk injury from a mob of fellow mozlums to protect someone who might have, possibly, perhaps, *desecrated* the filthy book of demon evil they all worship?

No, he was a Pakistani only, but from another province. He went to this place to celebrate Eid, so it’s not like he was a muslim-born atheist or anything like it. He went to celebrate that “festival” where animals are publicly slaughtered, & somehow ended up attracting a blasphemy allegation

What I had read of this story, Mohammed Ismail specifically went to this place from his home elsewhere in Pakistan to celebrate Eid. That’s where all this happened to him
Normally, I might sympathize, but reading of a faithful muslim being done in by others who think he was blaspheming islam gives it a tinge of schadenfreude

One of the Khalifas (Osman Ben Afane) burned 27 different versions of the Quran and left only one version which he liked. So if the Muslim Khalifa can burns the Queensland government has Quran why do not we burn it too?
